The Merton Apprentice — Restaurant in London

I was in the so called bar for a few hours being served by a friendly member of staff. so when my nephew went to the bar he asked her if she would like a drink, she said no I’m working he then said later as in when she finished she said no thank you I’m fine. At that point the so call landlord walked up to my nephew and said listen here no means no. Is in my eyes is disgusting behaviour.naking my nephew feel as if he has done something seriously wrong.. He was only being friendly. The landlord was so out of order in my eyes. Prejudging someone because they offer someone a drink is so out of order. He didn’t need to get involved to be honest he didn’t ido it quietly he was loud, and we all know that sort of thing could destroy...

Excellent well kept beers and ciders. Broad selection of good quality spirits and wines. Slush Puppies and soft drinks for the kids even the dog can have a bowl of water. Plus a Dartboard. Gigs every Sunday on the bandstand outside all well picked bands and Orchestras . Proper bar snacks served from jars and you can eat the food from any of the restaraunts around Merton Abbey Mills which span the globe right outside whilst you enjoy the music and drink. Staff are friendly and competent. A veritable oasis on a historic site on the breezy banks...

It's saying something when a pub that doesn't even have a toilet gets such good reviews on here. I suppose alot of people have low standards. Inside not bad apart from surly staff. Outside seating area at night is something to behold. Cold, draughty and the views of the empty market stalls are truly hideous. Dirty nappy strewn on floor the other night. Really? We are in London, not some slum in a distant land. Beers...
