Great vibe and service. A gem among the old school cafes in south London! Cheap prices for quick service and a smile. The have a huge variety of foods like burgers, sandwiches, full breakfasts, jacket potatoes, omelettes, salads, baguettes and plenty of specials! Food was nice but needs attention on the little details for the fifth star. Ketchup tasted odd and burger meat wasn’t anything notable. But I LOVED THIS PLACE! A true gem with a lot of character

Ordered poached egg on toast and got fried. If they didn’t offer poached eggs it would have been nice for them to tell me when ordering. Also, the eggs were solid which made it even worse. The person behind the till was lovely and really friendly. I don’t think I will be coming here again. I know a lot of people rate this place but they must have low standards.

We really wanted to like this place as there're so many good reviews. Prices are reasonable for London however we wouldn't be back: the veg sausage was extremely dry and the plate was overall bland. The pancake/crepe was unfortunately tasteless. My partner had a classic fry(called set B I think), not pictured, and his chips were soggy. The service was quick.

MY FAVOURITE CAFE EVER!!!!! my parents first brought me here when i was a little girl 18 years ago. We would go for full english breakfasts regularly and the owners have been running the cafe all these years. They've known me and my family my whole life - and ive known them to always make a banging breakfast!!!! They cook so speedy, and it all tastes DELICIOUS. Everything on the menu is gonna be hearty, well cooked, good tasting food. But I have to say the breakfasts are just the BEST. Portions are generous and price reasonable. They also make anything you ask, so just ask! The owners are the friendliest, sweetest couple and they run a brilliant service. I cannot wait to go back and sit in for my breakfast as soon as this...

Went in to get lunch and the service felt rushed, the place smelt like cigarette smoke and a guy behind the counter was very pushy towards customers, the burger I had tasted like plastic and didn’t feel edible, the chips were barley ok as well as they tasted like oil, only good thing out of the meal was the coke drinks we had, upon going to the bathroom the toilet looked like a dump and felt like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained at all and the seat was disgusting, I would not recommend this place at all to anyone unless you like bad food, bad service, and bad amenities and cigarette smoke...

A proper caff with good comfort food! I visited as I was staying at a hotel nearby and wanted to try a local business for breakfast and was not disappointed. They made my breakfast exactly as I asked with pork sausages swapped out for chicken sausages and scrambled eggs well done to perfection. Food was served piping hot and the service was excellent. I loved that dairy-free alternatives to milk were available for hot drinks. My only critique is that the sauce bottles/pepper on the tabels looked like they haven't been cleaned or refreshed in...
