I can’t praise Caribbean Kitchen enough. This was my second time ordering, and once again, it completely blew me away. The food is authentic, full of soul, and absolutely bursting with flavour. Every single dish feels like it’s been cooked with genuine love and care — not just made for takeaway, but prepared as if it’s for family.

The jerk chicken was out of this world — beautifully tender, with intense, mouth-watering flavours that linger with every bite. The jerk pork was so incredible I’m genuinely starting to crave it every night since! The rice and peas were cooked to perfection, each grain fluffy and infused with a delicate hint of coconut. And the plantain — cut to the perfect thickness — was golden, soft, and perfectly sweet, melting beautifully with the savoury flavours of the meal.

The curry goat tasted homemade, deeply comforting and warming, like the kind of food that just wraps you up in happiness. The mac and cheese had that same homely touch — creamy, rich, and nostalgic, like something your mum would make on a Sunday.

What really ties it all together, beyond the food, is the people. The staff are so friendly and genuinely lovely — you can feel their warmth and passion through every interaction. It’s rare to find a place where the food and the people both radiate so much heart, but Caribbean Kitchen absolutely does.

I had initially ordered £40 worth of food for a friend of mine’s groom honouring party.

I got home, saw that they forgot an item in my order, called the store up and they were really nice and supportive.

They had told me to reorder the food and they’ll bring the food item to the house, so I did this. One of my friends had his suspicions with this as it’s weird why they couldn’t just refund me at that very moment. I didn’t look into it much as the woman working there and the woman on the phone were very kind and seemed genuine.

The reorder had messed up, so they said reorder again, I did as I needed the food that they forgot urgently, and they assured me that they’ll refund the next day.

The food comes and it’s cold…

I contact them the next day as well as the following days and weeks and months and not a single response… I contacted my bank, not a single piece of support.

I’m not angry, I’m simply disappointed at the lack of honesty and integrity as workers of a company, the kindness they showed was just a way to make more money…

After my first caterer fell through 3 weeks before my wedding, carribean kitchen stepped in and saved the day with a buffet for 180 people. The owner Ann-Marie was an excellent communicator and helped to design the menu at a price to suit our budget. She took care of everything from organising a site visit to making the food display match our theme and I didn’t have to worry about anything. The food was a talking point of the wedding; everybody said how delicious it was, how friendly the staff were any how big the portions were. Plus, there was loads of variety and we got to take home the leftovers.
