City Best Mangal — Restaurant in London

Use to order from here a lot, now it's run down, foods never cooked both sides, and they've got teenage children answering the phones mumbling like kids instead of taking customers calls... there's loads of other options local, avoid this waste of money!

4 times I've ordered from this account in the last month alone, I also use delieveroo and my wife's JustEat account for years... To give an idea of how long i WAS a customer (no more), While my wife was pregnant with our second child all she wanted to eat (craving) was mild chicken curry... and the only place that sold this that wasn't an Indian restaurant (spicy) was this kebab shop, I would go there at gone midnight sometimes to get it... My second child is now 8 years old and I was a customer a lot longer than that...

Like I said above, this place use to be good, but now the staff are ignorant an have no intrest in there customers, its all numbers they dont care about quality, you can tell from the nonsense in there reply (below) just how fake and uncaring they are... it's always the same childish line "On This occasion it hasn't met our Standards"... Well I'm afraid this is your standard, for the last few months now the quality of food and service have gone down to zero, theyll cook one side of meat on the charcoal, not turn it over to cook the other side an just wrap it up, half whiteish uncooked meat & half slightly brown... Time for new owners and a fresh...

Ok, this place is insanely good. I am staying at the Holiday Inn Express just around the corner, and I wanted something quick and easy. I looked at the reviews and I figured why not give it a shot. I have to say, I was blown away.

It was absolutely delicious. I tried both the Lamb and the chicken and it was unbelievable. The garlic sauce was out of this world. The portions were gigantic, which was great because I hadn't eaten all day and I was really hungry.

I also ordered the French Fries, as recommended by one of the other reviewers. I have to say that was the only thing that left me underwhelmed. Otherwise comma the food was fantastic. So good in fact, that I think I'll stay at this hotel again just so that im close. I only wish I had discovered it earlier in my stay.

Firstly, I would like to say I waited 10/15 minutes before I started getting annoyed. All I asked for was a chicken donor with chips, don’t see how that takes longer than 15 minutes. It was 2am, I just had a long shift at work and I just wanted to get my food quick and go home. I asked the man how long it would take he said it was coming so I waited a further 5/10 minutes and asked again, he then proceeds to say that the guy behind me has been waiting half an hour and I’m not being funny how does it take half an hour to make a damn chicken donor and chips thats just taking the mick so I ask for refund because im not waiting bloody half an hour for a donor and chips and then the man says “he didn’t say that” when he basically did so not only is he taking half an hour to make a donor and chips but he wants to be rude...
