Would give 0 stars if could. First of all, the hygiene standards are close to inexistent - the staff touch the food with their bare hands, and even if they use gloves they touch everything around them with them... it's like they're not even wearing them at all. The work stations are extremely dirty; batter was splattered EVERYWHERE when I was there... The customer service is extremely poor: I had to wait for more than half an hour for my order, additionally to that the lady serving me was rude and after I asked for the receipt (which was covered with batter by the way) back she slapped it into my hand putting batter on my wrist. The ice cream tasted and smelled horrendous, the crepes were still raw inside, and extremely thick. I didn't get any tissue with the order and the boxes the crepes were put in were covered in chocolate - I ate the crepes outside and had to go back home with dirty chocolate covered hands... not a nice experience. While I am on the chocolate topic, the chocolate sauce seems to be the cheapest kind possible... it's more like chocolate flavoured water than sauce, it was watery and didn't taste amazing either. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone and more so would advise to avoid it at all costs - unless you find a giftcard on the street and are literally starting to death DO NOT GO THERE!

This is an abominable hazardous shop. The got our order ridiculously wrong it was like they were mocking us. TWO disgraceful waffles with EXPIRED strawberries and bananas. I don’t even get why they made that because when we called them they said that it’s not an item on the menu (obviously). We were having separate complications with Uber eats that made our order take 2 hours. But to the waffle it was genuinely saddening that we waited that long for the wrong order. We were left with inedible food because it was expired. In addition I believe that there is something wrong with the ice cream machine as our ice cream had black flakes on them. I am strongly considering calling the EHO on them as it was absolutely revolting. This problem has happened to us in the past but as there are many waffle shops in our area we had forgotten which one it was. Furthermore when trying to resolve this issue the employees and managers refused to give us names as I believe they knew exactly what what botched waffle they sent us. I end this review on an empty stomach and a raging head. Yet if you truly want to get a waffle that you could eat I STRONGLY advise that you order somewhere else.

Creams Cafe Brixton located opposite to Brixton Police Station on Brixton Road is part of the large chain of ice cream parlours in the UK. The two things going for Creams Brixton are the opening hours - open Sun to Thu 12:00–23:00, Thu to Fri 11:00–00:00 and the varied menu that includes sundaes, bubble pop waffles, waffles, creaps, gelato & sorbets, puddings and shakes. The two things that could be improved significantly are the interior and the service. The interior is dark and dominated by purple and black colors - resembling the decor of a bad 80s club. There is five booths and two tables and the main counter is part blocked with baby chairs and a column. The service was aloof with little attention paid to customer at the ice-cream counter ordering ice cream to go. Instead of providing table service, orders have to be placed and paid at the cash register. This can create significant confusion over the allocation and a availability of free space. The icecream is okay but some of buckets of flavours seemed like they had frost bite and needed a refresh. The crowd is dominated by teenagers and families, giving it a buzzling and at times chaotic feel.
