Delizie D’Italia – A Slice of Italy in Pimlico

Tucked away on Lupus Street in London’s Pimlico district, Delizie D’Italia is a charming Italian deli that feels like a well-kept secret. With its warm hospitality, authentic flavors, and cozy atmosphere, it’s no wonder this spot has earned a loyal following.

Food & Flavors Expect classic Italian sandwiches, fresh pastries, and soul-soothing coffee. The paninis are a standout—generously filled, reasonably priced, and bursting with flavor. Many guests rave about the hot-case Italian meals, which offer a comforting taste of home-style cooking.

Atmosphere & Vibe The ambiance is relaxed and welcoming, with a touch of Italian charm. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or lingering over a cappuccino, the space invites you to slow down and savor the moment.

Service & Experience Service is consistently praised for its friendliness and attentiveness. The staff seem genuinely passionate about what they do, and it shows in both the food and the...

Where do I start? Simply the best deli in London. The sandwiches? Out of this world. I particularly loved the focaccia, and was particularly partial to the ciabattas as well. They have a multitude of different sandwiches from which to choose, and they're all divine, with a wide selection of meats and cheeses fresh from Italy, with fresh salad to put in as well. On top of that, they have a wide array of pastas, breads, fish, meats, etc. all of the finest quality. One of my personal favourites, however, was the cannolis, they were outrageously good. Cannot recommend enough. When we were served, however, the guy was new, so he was a little slow but nothing major, he was still very friendly and I would come back here 10...

This cafe is very close to the Holy Apostles Church I attend and I have been a few times now. On the first two occasions, I went for just a coffee. Today, I had a brunch there as I decided on a late breakfast for the bank holiday weekend. I was impressed by the quality of the service and also the scrambled egg on Italian bread was very succulent and also a good portion size. The Americano went well with it and it was a pleasant atmosphere inside the cafe. I will definitely be returning again and would like to try either the breakfast items such as the croissants and pan au raisins or the Carrot Cake that they had displayed. They have an interesting selection of Italian biscuits to buy, hanging in...

This is a wonderfully warm and friendly Italian spot, very small, always busy but with excellent service that makes you feel right at home. I ordered the Napoli on focaccia bread. The ingredients were clearly fresh but I found myself wishing for a bit more flavour like maybe a drizzle of olive oil, a touch of pesto, or some kind of sauce to tie it all together. The vegetables on their own didn’t quite carry the dish. For dessert, I had the hazelnut and pistachio cannoli. They were fantastic. If you’re only getting one, go for the pistachio it’s the best. The menu offers a surprisingly wide range of options, from lasagna to ravioli, and I’m definitely planning to come back to try the pasta next time.

Such a nice atmosphere all year round. Italians and locals coming here and eating delicious food. They have classic comfort meals as well as delicious Italian sandwiches. Been here multiple times and still never disappoints. I've had many of their paninis and both veggie and meat are delicious Recommend: parma ham and cream of pecorino panini. Mushroom and boar pasta was insanely good. Any of the pesto paninis as its too good not to try. Fresh ingredients, lots to choose from and great prices for big portions and lots of filling. I would go out my way to go here.
