Dom's Subs has built a reputation as the king of sandwiches. Garnering considerable fame on Instagram, this humble café on Hackney Road now stands as a must-visit destination, serving up an array of Italian-American style subs filled to the brim with an array of tempting ingredients. With a new location recently opened in the city, the Dom's Subs experience has become more accessible, offering meticulously crafted sandwiches that promise a symphony of flavours.

The "Doms Club" (£9), is a titan amongst sandwiches. Stacked with roast turkey, ham, bacon, Swiss cheese, tomatoes, shredded iceberg lettuce, guacamole, and mayonnaise, this sub is a delight to behold and a joy to devour. The bread, while simple, serves as the perfect vessel for the medley of fresh ingredients. The combination of guacamole and mayonnaise creates a creamy, tangy sauce that ties all the flavours together beautifully.

Just when you thought the "Doms Club" was unbeatable, along comes "The Grapow" (£10). This sub brings a taste of Thai cuisine to the heart of London. Featuring spicy Thai ground chicken, gem lettuce, Kewpie mayo, pickled cucumbers and carrots, Thai basil, coriander, pickled red chillies, crispy shallots, and fragrant toasted rice powder, this sandwich delivers a fusion of flavours that is truly a feast for the senses.

Dom's Subs is more than just a sandwich shop. It's a culinary journey where each bite promises a burst of flavour, demonstrating the thought and care that goes into every sandwich. If you haven't had the Dom's Subs experience, you're missing out!

Tried the beef sub today for the first time, had it delivered.

It looked impressive! Thought it was fairly tasty but oddly, it was dripping in oil to the point where I had to wrap the bread in paper towel in order to eat it - there was oil literally leaking out of the foil wrap. My friend who also ordered the beef had the same problem, friends who had the chicken seemed fine.

Another thing we found weird was that it tasted like the whole thing was drenched in spicy pickle juice or vinegar, I don’t mind that taste at all but it was actually quite overpowering. Nevertheless I ate most of it.

A couple of hours later I noticed my stomach wasn’t feeling to good and I’ve actually b throwing up since eating the sandwich, perhaps the combination of oil and spicy pickle juice hasn’t helped! Sadly I’ll be giving this place a...

Absolutely the best subs I’ve ever had in my life. We were having a Hack Day at work and due to the fact we were glued to our desks trying to code as creatively as possible, Big Boss ordered Dom’s Subs for all to keep the dream alive. I had a Doms Club and was so delighted by it I can assure you afternoon coding went +9000 thanks to my happy stomach.

A day later we were off on a company trip to Norfolk and I immediately thought of repeating my happy experience and ordered a Doms Club again and this time I went there to get it myself. Staff are super friendly so it was definitely worth the walk. I would’ve loved to bring a t-shirt home to wear proudly but unfortunately I had to fly back home to Madrid. Cannot wait to go back to London for another taste of a different sub. Keep the hard work up and thanks for...

Ay caramba, this is some good sandwich. Ordered a This Spicy D with extra red chillies, pickled cucumber, guacamole and salami. The extras pushed the price of the sub to £10.50. The sandwich was fresh, tasty, crunchy and full of flavour. The portion size was just right. It reminded me of having a New Orelans po' boy, a traditional sandwich from Louisiana. Ordering online was a breeze and the level of customisation offered is excellent. Lastly the delivery was under 40 minutes and friendly. If you are craving a freaking tasty sandwich that makes you salute John Montagu, 4th Earl of Sandwich, give Doms Subs a try.
