The instructor, Tatyana, was very unfriendly and quite dismissive. Rather than introducing herself and the class, she spent talking about her boyfriend who isn't actually her boyfriend to another attendee. At 9:45 she got into the class. I thought there'd be demonstrations and support but she just sat down throughout the session and talked us through the exercises. I've attended a few Pilates classes and all the instructors demonstrate using the machine and also check on us to ensure our form is correct. However, this instructor sat down and said she's not standing up due to leg pains or something. I looked at her a few times during the class as I was unsure of what l was doing but she dismissed me, looked elsewhere and encouraged the rest of the class. I felt uncomfortable and decided to leave halfway into the class. She dismissed me again when I expressed that I didn't know what l was doing and then at that point decided to stand up and start helping the class. This was a very uncomfortable class and a very uncomfortable experience. If you're new to Pilates, I...
Read moreI had a very disappointing experience . The location was confusing â the booking said it was inside the building, but when I arrived, security took a while to explain where the studio actually was. By the time I found it, I was only 5 minutes away, but then had more issues figuring out how to enter since there is no reception or clear instructions for first-timers. When I finally located the studio, I knocked on the door, but the trainer was extremely disrespectful. She looked at me, then looked away, without saying a word or offering any guidance. I completely understand that I was about 10 minutes late at that point, but the lack of basic courtesy was shocking. A simple explanation like, âSorry, youâre late, you canât join this class,â would have been enough. Instead, I was ignored and left...
Read moreleaving a review as this place isnât as well known as some others but the classes are incredible! itâs not traditional pilates, but rather uses a powerformer (i think this is similar to a megaformer) with heavier springs and a back platform and bar , so itâs more like a lagree. Also they incorporate heavier dumbbells , resistance bands, weight bars as well as the classic ring and ball. The classes are super challenging , which is why I switched to coming here over just a regular pilates studio. The studio is so calm and clean and Iâve had classes with lots of different instructors and theyâve all been amazing. Canât...
