I got the chicken satay and rice from the market stall on Klifton Street London, though unfortunately the chicken was very raw and I didn’t notice until I had eaten a good portion. Thankfully I returned with it and was granted a refund, but I unfortunately needed to push for a refund as I declined their insistence to remake the dish as I felt very ill at the thought. Then they tried to suggest £7.95, while I’d paid £9.95 total which included a chicken side to which I also then had to stop eating. After pushing, I was refunded - though it appeared to have the intent of stopping a scene instead of because they thought it was the right thing to do. Chicken is the worst thing to undercook and leave raw, which made me very worried. If I get ill in the next couple hours/days, I’ll be putting it down to food poisoning. Read moreI dined at Fab Thai Street Food in London about four years ago, and the experience was nothing short of amazing! The flavors were authentic, vibrant, and packed with that perfect balance of sweet, sour, spicy, and savory that defines great Thai cuisine.
The Tamarind Chicken was a standout—crispy on the outside, tender inside, and coated in a rich, tangy tamarind sauce that left me wanting more. The Panang Chicken Curry was another highlight, with its creamy coconut base and deep, aromatic spices that tasted just like home.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff were warm and welcoming, making the entire dining experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for authentic Thai street food in London, this is the place to go!
Highly recommended! Can’t wait to...
Read moreI had the Thai minced beef with rice and the tamarind chicken as a half and half. The staff are very friendly and hospitable and the ambience although a takeaway very appealing. Lemongrass in the diffuser, very reminiscent to Thailand I would imagine. The Thai beef with basil and rice was flavorful along with the extra chilli soy sauce and siriracha I added myself. The tamarind chicken however was hard I was only able to eat two pieces of that. The sauce sweet and tangy could benifit from some improvement. If in the area I would pop by again as the price is good and the serving size more than enough to...
