I saw this recommended on Infatuation and decided to take a punt on this “little gem”. I came here for a bday treat and I was not disappointed. We were sat in an alcove (the only one) and from the moment we entered it felt special, cosy and really welcoming. We tried the dishes and it was all delicious. The lamb was really tender and aubergine soft and yielding as it should be. We would have liked more aubergine in the aubergine fatteh. The hummus and the tabbouleh were fresh, delicious and the best I’ve tasted. Lovely accompaniment with the fresh pitta. We asked for the bread to be hotter and they provided new breads without charge and took off the original charge. Exceptional service. I really enjoyed the milk pudding (made with milk and double cream - yum!) and drizzled with sweet rose water syrup and pistachio crumble. Lovely Lebanese version of a panacotta. Just the ideal wobbly, soft consistency and the perfect sweetness after rich and generous mains and starters. We also received complimentary baklava pieces as it was my birthday which went well with the fresh mint tea. Would rate food 4.5 overall. Would come again and am delighted to have found this eaterie in central London (close to Bond St and Baker St). Service was polite, friendly and relaxed. We stayed at our table over 3 courses and could barely drag ourselves away! Ps Fadi served our tea and was a welcoming host

The food was good but we had a really bad experience with the service. We were 5 people and the staff was not attentive to the customers at all. We had to call them a number of times just to get someone to take our order. We had a reservation at 7:30 and placed our order by 8:10, and then we had to wait till 8:55 to receive our order, almost 45 minutes. Afterwards when we ordered our bill we asked the server if we can get the “optional service charge” removed and he said its not possible since the service was good. We would have been fine with paying the service charge but his attitude was extremely unprofessional so we asked him to remove it after which he started arguing with us. In the end he removed the charge but even as he came back to give us the bill he told us the service was good. I would request the manager to please advise his staff on how to handle customers as the food here is good but due to the staff i can’t recommend it for anyone.

I recently dined at Fairuz, named after the famous Lebanese singer, and had an extraordinary experience. The presentation of the food was impressive, but the taste surpassed all expectations. Each dish was a delightful journey to Lebanon, capturing the authentic flavors and essence of Lebanese cuisine. It was likely one of the best Lebanese restaurants I have ever visited. The food was simply a dream, with each bite offering a perfect blend of spices and ingredients. The quality and freshness of the dishes were evident, and it was clear that great care was taken in their preparation. The ambiance of Fairuz added to the overall experience, making it a truly memorable meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to enjoy exceptional Lebanese food. It was an incredible culinary experience that I would love to repeat.

Only got the fettoush (my fave thing to order from here). The service is awful and I won't be returning. This is the third time I've come here and had the same experience. I just wanted a quick snack because I'd had a long journey ahead and I was starving. I stood by the front door, nobody came to greet me and seat me, I had to walk up to the till and ask for a table for one. The lady pointed at a seat, so I sat down. 3 workers were all walking around picking up glasses and tucking in chairs after people that were leaving. At this point there's only 3 tables now and 3 members of staff just chilling. Nobody came up to me, I wasn't even given a menu at this point. A man who I believe to be the manager came to the table next to me and wiped it down, he looked directly at me sitting there on my own with no menu and no food/drink and still walked straight past. In the end, eventually, one of the members of staff said "You waiting for someone or?" to which I replied "No. I asked for a table for ONE, it's just me, it's been 10mins, nobody has offered me a menu or even come to ask my order." To which she replied "Oh" and then went and got me a menu. Absolutely awful service. If I wasn't so damn hungry and it wasn't so late (couldn't go elsewhere) I'd have just walked out. After my meal, I kept trying to make eye contact to ask for the bill and again, they were just walking straight past me, I was convinced I was invisible. Eventually, I had to walk over to the till and ask to pay so I can leave whilst others were given card machines at their tables. Finally, they had the audacity to include service charge. I asked for it to be...
