Ferreira Delicatessen — Restaurant in London

Got a mint lamb sandwich from them (haven't ever been to Ferreira's Delicatessen before): it was so horrible the words can't describe - there was literally no lamb in, just some scraps, the rest was all and I mean literally all of it just gristle with some minuscule meat leftovers on it or none at all! I couldn't chew through it no matter how hard I tried, so had to take out all the gristle to try and bite the sandwich. There was so little salad in that after removing the "lamb" there was just bread and sauce. The sauce, again, was terrible - just sugar, too sweet. The worst sandwich in the area, for sure. I'm so appalled at the standard of food I'll be actually bothered to spend time reporting them to food...

Been coming here for years......Victors' pineapple cake is off the charts. I once asked Sandwich Meister Germano, the other brother...where's the best Portuguese restaurant is in London? He replied ; 'My Kitchen!!'. The Ferreira brothers are from the Douro region....just east of Porto and Germanos' Lovely Wife is from Braga! I gotta mention Eddie too! a wise man and a professional sandwich maker. He,s from Madeira and also a spurs fan. There aint many Family run joints like this left in london. Went to Ferreira for the first and last time this morning. The service was beyond rude. After purchasing 4 pastries my friend and I left the store. We decided to sit outside with the seating provided as it was raining. The employee came out to us,pointed his finger and warned us in an accusatory tone that if we return to their store with our own coffees we will need to pay double next time. Instead of explaining in a reasonable professional manner he decided to threaten us which will ensure we will never return. The pastries were burnt on the bottom and there are plenty of other more friendly local businesses in Camden...
