Fink’s Chats — Restaurant in London

Total disappointment! The girl at the till can’t be bothered to serve customers properly. First she got my order wrong and made only one toasted croissant instead of 2 as I ordered. I asked her to make the other one as I wanted in the first place, whilst I get my card from home as I live very close to the shop. I returned in 5min and expected to have the croissant ready or almost ready only to see that she only started to toast it when I returned and after I paid for it. Again she couldn’t be bothered to cook it properly and as a result got a burnt croissant on the outside and cold cheese...

I’ve had lunch here now 4 or 5 times and the sandwiches are always delicious - the chicken cesar and harissa egg are favourites. Their coffee is great as are the various cookies and cakes. The prices are relatively high, but given the quality and enjoyment of the products you never feel short changed. The staff are extremely friendly, service is quick and they gave me some great advice on how to make better...

This is a charming place, unfortunately the products are not any good. They don't bake their own bread but sell old stale bread which is not stored properly.

Long transport times will obviously affect how fresh a bread is so getting it from outside means it is never fresh, but they don't seem to care.

This is not a one off, I have given this place several chances. A shame as it could be both...
