Venetias is, without a doubt, one of those rare gems you never want to keep to yourself—but you also secretly hope no one else finds out about, just so you can always get a table. Every visit feels like coming home. The food is consistently fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Whether it’s a quick bite or a leisurely brunch, the quality never falters.

Their Turkish breakfast is nothing short of sublime—a perfect balance of savory and sweet, made with love and attention to detail. And don’t even get me started on the vanilla lattes—creamy, smooth, and utterly addictive. They’ve set the standard so high, I can’t enjoy coffee anywhere else!

What truly makes Venetias special, though, is the team. Khan & Jay are absolute stars—always warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Being greeted with a smile and treated like family each day is such a rare and refreshing experience. Their energy and hospitality are just as much a reason I visit daily as the delicious food.

Cross-contamination. Really disappointed. Weird vibes.

Came with my partner and ordered veggie breakfast for him and veggie sandwich for myself. Were enjoying our meals until he found a piece of chicken mixed in with his mushrooms. Let the manager know and she told us they use the same grill for everything - just “separate” things.

Our food came at the same time so most likely my mushrooms were also contaminated - ordering a veggie option that’s drenched in meat juices defeats the point really.

I’m not the type to complain but for people with allergies this could be serious stuff.

Wasn’t offered a refund, had to ask for one. Didn’t get a sorry from the manager either.

Also one of the waitresses was weirdly dismissive (came as a large group and she asked if the others were sitting in and I answered for them but was met with a “I wasn’t speaking to you”)

I’ve been coming to Venetia’s for years. I live 5 minutes walk away. Firstly, the staff are always lovely and happy. The coffee is also great and I have always really liked it, but recently the food quality has started to go down hill. I have been in a few Saturday mornings, has something happened with the kitchen on these days? The full English is not what it used to be. Undercooked bacon, bad quality sausage and overdone eggs. The ‘toast’ came and it was just bread….untoasted. Venetias is a cool spot that has kept its traditional charm and has not gone the ‘Hackney’ route of most cafes on chatsworth road.
