Stone Bros looks hip with it’s checkered floors and black and white color scheme. I had 2 flat whites and a New York Bagel. the pros: good coffee, smooth and creamy. the flavors on the bagel were also very good, plenty of avocado and bacon. very tasty. the cons: the stamp-card is only for takeaway coffee, it’s pretty pricey, not sure the bagel counts as a bagel. and the staff unfortunately seemed bored, which added to a cold, not-so cosy atmosphere. too bad! i can imagine it being worth another visit on a sunnier day, when dispositions are brighter ✨

I visited the café this morning and ordered a bacon-flavored coffee. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The flavor was completely unsuitable for coffee, and the taste was unpleasant and difficult to tolerate. Moreover, the strong aroma of the flavor lingered on my clothes, which affected my comfort for the rest of the day. Regrettably, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend trying this particular flavor, especially for those seeking a high-quality, traditional coffee experience.

So much loud clattering from behind the counter - ugh! My friend loved her lentil soup. The shakshuka had too many massive slices of onion. Not a patch on the shakshuka from The Market Cafe in Broadway Market, which is currently top of my shakshuka leaderboard. Doubt I'll come back here.

On a February morning of rare warmth and sunshine, I entered Stone Bros a spring in my step and a yearning for the kind of quality coffee past customers have raved about on this very site. Well then, never in my life did I expect to encounter the events that would unfold in the following moments. Whilst waiting in the queue, humming away a merry tune and generally thinking how good the world could be sometimes, I experienced an unfortunate event that made me question this belief like I never before believed was possible. The gentleman serving at the till took a handful of scrambled eggs off the plate waiting to be served and smushed it right up in the visage of the customer waiting for their fine cup of joe! I was truly astounded! Yes the customer may have asked for a double whip moka choca extra cold extra dry iced cappuccino but such treatment is surely beyond comprehension! Heavens to Betsy it shook me to my core to be sure! Regardless I ordered a coffee, for I had waited all this time and my happy go lucky attitude was fading fast without the influence of some good old caffeine! Two stars for food due to the coffee art, a very...

It takes a while to get service but they're quite busy and that's always a good sign. The outdoor seating is a little on the delicate side but serviceable. The staff are extremely pleasant and you immediately feel at ease once they sight you, and you immediately look forward to trying what's on the menu.

Once you order things pick up quickly - a salmon bagel arrived in short order packed an inch thick with good quality salmon, a decent amount of cream cheese and some capers and leaf salad.

While the bagel could have used another 30 seconds in the toaster the filling was as good as any you'd find in a 4 or 5 star hotel, without the eye-watering prices. Now if they added a little red onion for a slight crunch, this would easily go toe-to-toe with the best...

I had a terrible experience in this coffee shop. As a paying customer (who had bought a coffee, lemonade and tea), the man behind the counter kept huffing and puffing while walking past me and the few people I was meeting in his coffee shop. We were not there for maybe more than 15 minutes and just needed somewhere for them to sign some paperwork as it was pouring with rain outside. It became so noticeable that I actually stood up and walked over and asked him if it’s a problem to which he replied, “yeah actually it is” so I paid for the drinks and got up and left. The two girls that worked there were fine. Do...
