Fish and Bubbles Fulham — Restaurant in London

First time in the Fulham branch of Fish and Bubbles today. We were 5 people. We had Polipetti alla Luciana, josper-griled swordfish stakes, sicilian style swordfish with caponata, fritto misto, zucchine alla scapece and tonnarelli con cozze e pecorino all'ischitana, delizia al limone and Baba dessert. The food was outstanding, fresh, super flavoursome, and excellent portions. The service from Giuseppe was on point and very accommodating with my friend's intolerance/allergies. Also when I received my pasta I made a comment to my friend that I could not taste the pecorino cheese in it, Giuseppe overheard the conversation and he wanted to redo the pasta for me in order to enjoy the full experience of it... must say once I tasted the pasta he had redone, it was absolutely superb... to die for!!! Thank you so much, Giuseppe. A little note for the future, it is not a criticism, but just a little touch to improve the service, it would have been nice to present the fish chosen by the customers before cooking it to make sure it was suitable, size, and price wise. Other than that, you're doing an amazing job... keep going in making us happy with your incredible food and service. Thank you, Giuseppe, and all the team. See...

We were looking forward to it as we love Italian food and it is a 5 minute walk from our place. We booked it for our son's birthday for dinner.

Positives: lovely set up, tables etc looking cosy, very smiley waiter and friendly chefs. Fried calamari portion was massive, chefs were all speaking italian, pasta portions were all generous and tasty and food for the kids arrived quickly. Tasty tiramisu.

Negatives: I think the menu should be smaller but with better availability. It must be hard to keep a big variety of fresh seafood in an area of London that is not as busy. The restaurant is not very visible to passersby which is a shame, I spoke to a few neighbors who had not noticed it. They were out of tuna steak, durada fish and sth else. There were only two tables but the other one was constantly demanding attention from the waiter so we had to wait for wine etc. The tuna tartare ceviche etc are great in concept but the execution lacks a bit of flavour and the combinations with raspberry etc are not as good. Fish and Bubbles is a true gem in the heart of Fulham Broadway. From the moment my friends and I walked in, we were greeted with smiles and impeccable service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, but a special shoutout goes to Matteo and Federico, who went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. Not only were they extremely knowledgeable about the menu, offering spot-on recommendations, but their fun and lively personalities truly elevated the entire experience. The food was nothing short of spectacular. The Chef clearly has a passion for perfection, as every dish was delivered on time, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Each bite was a testament to the quality and care put into their menu.
