Five Guys Burgers and Fries Islington — Restaurant in London

🍔Five Guys Islington I visited the Five Guys location in Islington with my son and was unfortunately very disappointed. While Five Guys is known for a premium fast-food experience, the reality of this visit didn't match the reputation or the price tag. The Food: Overpriced and Under-Delivered We both ordered the Hamburger. Cooking Quality: The biggest issue was how badly cooked the burger was. For a restaurant focusing on simple, high-quality burgers, they were remarkably poorly handled. They were dry and lacked the juicy, fresh-off-the-grill flavor one expects. Cost vs. Value: This was an extremely expensive meal for what it was. When you pay a premium price for a fast-food burger, you expect a level of quality and execution far superior to standard chains. Given the dry, poorly cooked meat, the cost felt completely unjustified and frankly, a poor value.

I simply cannot recommend this experience. When a basic menu item like a hamburger is badly cooked, it severely undermines the entire meal. Paying a premium for an inferior product is...

A Fast Food chain with the price and quality of a restaurant but with the reputation of other fast food such as McDonalds. Really good food but expensive, £14.50 for a burger and chips. My first experience of a Five Guys was here. Firstly the service was alright although the staff serving were impossible to understand, I told them to talk slower. This helped and being my first time I didn't know what I was going to get asked.

The food did take a little while to make but this was not a problem when you saw what the quality and taste was like. The restaurant was very American diner style but needed a bit of a clean.

Food was amazing, probably one of the best burgers I'd had but I left after eating it, well most of it I was so full, and all I could think of was if just paid nearly £15 for a burger.. I'll try another out of London and compare prices soon.

I mean Five Guys is something you can’t describe. It’s just amazing. In the fast food market is the top quality restaurant.

In terms of quality you can really taste the difference, sometimes it’s even better than burgers you can get in a pub o steak restaurant, the do the best fries in the world. The portions are always big, as it is a proper American fast food, even the “mini” version of the burger is quite big, and I would suggest to get the small fries as I have already mentioned there are lots of fries, just to give an idea: they fill up a little paper cup with fries than the put them in the brown paper bag and the top them up with a full little tray of fries, so they almost doubled the quantity. Last but not least, the have the refillable drinks.

Obviously, as the quality and the portion are quite big the prices are a bit higher than other fast food, but completely worth it.
