Unwavering commitment to flavour!
These guys fry their chips in peanut oil to give them a unique flavour and crisp you won’t find anywhere else!
Five guys don't care about people with peanut allergies, there’s enough custom without them, they have a completely uncompromising dedication to perfection, even if it means breaking a few social common adherences most other establishments wouldn’t dare!
Sod off peanut allergy people, this is a true burger joint sadly you’d have to die for to experience!
There’s even free peanuts while you wait!
A bit pricey for my holey pockets with a basic burger on its own coming in at least a £10er, but if you’ve got £20 to spend and you want a decent meal that will nourish and satisfy, five guys won’t let you down.
For a bacon double cheese burger and as many free toppings as you like, you’re looking at £15, a swarvy budget muncher, may be able to scavenge some left behind fries and even steal a squirt from the fill it yourself coke machine to safe a few pounds, but it’s worth the price for any who can afford it.
A few bites of a five guys burger and chips and you feel the difference, ecstatic taste buds, satisfied tummy, and a suppressed carnivorous appetite that’ll have you back to vegi food for another five days or...
Read moreDissapointed. I usually only have milkshakes as they are the best out there but yesterday I ordered a cheese sandwich. They use processed cheese and I just found that to be awful. A real junk food. I don't eat burgers at all and that was just like a burger without the meat. In addition, they take part of the current "Eat out, help out" scheme. So, I thought I will get the one of the offers which was fries, sandwich and milkshake for £10 but then the girl charged me for each item individually which was £14. I did pay only £7 because she applied the discount but she didn't tell me that she can't apply discount on the offer. Whether that was the case,or she just didn't know about that offer even though I made explicitly clear that I will go for that offer, I don't know. She was struggling with her English and I just didn't wanted and ask how come that instead of £5 I paid £7. Then thinking that I had to pay £14 if it was full price for that quality of food is just insane. In the future, I will just stick to the...
Read moreGreat place, of you want to try great burgers and fries!
There is a very limited selection of burgers and menu is quite simple, which is good if you ask me. And you can customize your burger the way you like without paying extra.
Burgers themselves are of a good size and since you add components yourself, it's most probably going to taste good.
I do think their combination of bun and meat patty work well, even without anything added, there is a lot of flavor in the meat and it's seasoned well.
Their fries are quite good, you go get a little notion of peanut taste in them and I quite enjoy them, making them onsite fresh could be the reason behind that.
Love the option of having your own drink and free refills, along with complimentary peanuts as much as you want.
All of this comes at a price, burger and fries weren't cheap, compared to competition, these are quite expensive. However you probably won't be disappointed.
The other issue is that the place wasn't really clean and their tables weren't...
