Having read the reviews there was a mix of good and bad so decided to visit as we were visiting the history and science museums. We are a family of two adults and two six year olds. Paying £68 for a family of four for this quality of food and service is very poor. They get away with this as enough tourists visit the museums nearby who will never return. There is not enough seating, it’s very cramped so walking anywhere people have to move their chairs to let you past. Lots of families were getting upset and frustrated as you have to wait for them to shout your order number. They really need a tanoy system. All the staff don’t smile and rush you when ordering, then you need to find a table whilst they prepare your order. This is a challenge as they don’t have enough tables and they don’t stop people coming when they are rather full already. Having collected a brown bag of our order was rather disappointed with most if it. The burgers needed more seasoning and looked a bit squashed. The chips were put in paper cups and just thrown into the bag so had all fallen into the bag out of the cups. The ‘hand cut ‘ chips were ok but not crispy on the outside and soft inside. They were just floppy. The three milkshakes we ordered were the best thing we ordered, made with ice cream, they were rather nice. However oddly McDonald’s milkshakes taste better. Overall we will not visit this branch again as the staff need training to improve service and food quality to meet the standards of other five guys branches in London - it’s a shame as five guys concept done well is very high quality and the high cost is worth while, here you have just the high cost but poor food and service. I think positive review here do not reflect what we experienced and I wonder if a pr company is responsible for them. Enjoy the museums and maybe try honest burger instead, they have been ok...

This was our first time visiting this franchise location in London, although we’re regulars at the northern branch. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by a gentleman at the counter (unfortunately I didn’t catch his name). He was incredibly kind, polite, and served us with a genuine smile – it really made us feel welcome.
To our pleasant surprise, he also offered us a voucher for a free milkshake and fries, which was such a lovely gesture and definitely made our day! The service was fast, the staff were friendly, and the overall atmosphere was just as good—if not better—than what we’ve come to expect from our usual location.
We left very happy and impressed with the experience. It’s always a great feeling when customer service goes above and beyond. We’ll definitely be returning on our next...
Read moreFirst time visit to five guys anywhere! I didn’t really know what to expect as never stepped foot in one until today, At first it felt like a more expensive Burger King with the layout and ordering system, the place was mostly clean toilets etc apart from a few tables that hadn’t been wiped down yet? Coke from machine I think had been mixed with water? As most places do ? Surprisingly the burger was nice we had double burgers with fries (remind me of KFC’s) and extra toppings what were fresh, burger was done nicely and got the smaller ones for kids what they actually managed to finish so perfect size, the only downside was the cost! Just over £55 for four of us that was 5 burgers, two V large fries and a large drink to share. To be honest in two minds about returning you can’t complain about quality of the food as was nice but seemed very steep...
