We booked on the off chance and for something to do. We HAD THE BEST TIME. Arriving at 2pm we were greeted by the most friendly server Agatha and barperson Jamie. Welcoming us with a joke and a smile.
We were shown to our Occy and given full instructions by Agatha to begin our games of darts. Everything was set up perfect. We just had to press a button and Agatha would come to take our food/drinks order without having to leave the game.
We ordered the lunch special which was a range of food from pizza, burgers, wraps, salads catering for every dietary requirement. We also got a drink included (alcoholic and non) for £10 each.
The pizza was incredible. Made fresh and came out hot and crispy. My husband had a wrap which he got a choice of fries. All amazing quality for the price we paid.
As we continued to play and our time was running out, Agatha surprised us by offering 30 minutes extra on the house which made an already fun day, even better.
I have to say this is a hidden gem in Islington and I know we will be booking again.
The atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were all incredible.
Special thanks to Agatha and Jamie for looking after us (even with the pint of Amstel joke. 🤣) we had the...
Read moreWe went mid-afternoon. They stuck us (group of 12) in the booth by the kitchen area at the front. Food was constantly being dispatched from this area meaning we constantly had to be moving around. I can only assume they did this because they wanted the place to look busy.
There were multiple unoccupied booths at the back which would have been way more convenient for a group of our size.
They brought all the food out at once, rather than staggering it throughout the afternoon. The food quickly got cold as a result. There was also hardly any space in one booth to place it all. It was all very tasty.
Staff asked if we had played before, and one person had, and then seemed reluctant to tell us the rules or demo it. We pressed them for newcomers.
The dart games, pictures and videos were fun. It just lacked atmosphere.
The barman was attentive with...
Read moreI have to take a moment to commend flight club for something. Yes, the food was great, and the darts were fabulous fun. But just how seriously they took allergies was unprecedented, in a very welcome way.
My wife is allergic to fish and seafood. As in, if she accidentally eats a speck of prawn, it's epi-pen and A&E time. They asked her about her allergies, amended the menu and told her in no uncertain terms what she could and could not eat in confidence. Sometimes it can be an absolute pain to work out what she can eat, but the level of awareness of this venue was nothing I'd seen before, and we were able to enjoy their (delicious!) menu without worrying that anyone was going to be hospitalised over it. Wonderful!
I can recommend the pepperoni pizza, they dribble a little honey on it. And if you play darts, my favourite game was...
