Foreign Exchange News — Restaurant in London

This was such a great addition to the neighbourhood a year ago. We were loyal customers, and gave it 5 stars. Sadly with multiple staff turnovers it has completely changed. There is no community vibe anymore, the staff (one woman in particular whose name I don't know) are rude and completely uninterested in providing any sort of hospitality. Don't expect any greeting, smile or basic acknowledgement of your existence, let alone recognition that you've been many, many times. We kept hoping it would improve, but today's miserable coffee (served in a takeaway cup, despite asking for stay in), was the final straw. Won't be...

Our first coffee morning in London and at the same time this felt like coming home as well as discovering a new one

To start with what's it all about: the coffee and snacks and happy to report that these were more than delightful, great even.

And while enjoying the tastes it's the perfect moment to discover all the unique little touches that give this place its character. I will not spoil them in the review but me and my travel partner shared a lovely silence with our coffees just enjoying the whole thing

Recently had the pleasure of grabbing a cappuccino and a piece of cake from Foreign Exchange News. I decided to sit outside on their patio as it was a beautiful sunny day in early March 2025.

The coffee was excellent and the cake was delicious. Most importantly, the coffee shop was clean, nicely decorated and the staff very helpful, friendly and welcoming.

I had such a good experience, that I came back the next day.
