Extremely disappointing customer service. Many items arrived damaged. Their customer service blamed DPD when the parcel was really poorly packed in the first place, with heavy items on top of lighter ones, a box too large for it's content, and no mention that the parcel was fragile and perishable on the outside of the box. Naturally, I threw in the bin the leaking boxes of soups and inedible broken biscuits and soaking wet Cantal cheese. I then proceeded to contact their customer service to ask for a refund. The day after, they responded to inform me that to receive a refund, I would have to send back the damaged items. I am not in the mood to dig through my bin, and pack leading boxed of soup and biscuits crumbs in plastic bags to avoid causing a mess to DPD drivers. After this, they've asked for more pictures, but the items are now in the building communal bin and for basic hygiene and health and safety reasons, it is not reasonable to ask me to find which bin bag was mine, open it, and locate the products. So I guess all I can do is strongly recommend AGAINST this shop and its extremely poor customer service. (FrenchClick takes ages to deliver but at least, the food from there arrives in decent conditions.) Update: contrary to what their response says, they did not offer to send any replacement in their original email. Update 2: to send replacement, they want me to ship them the damaged items, ie they're asking me to book a DPD delivery for a bin bag. I cannot believe it. Especially since I already put the bin bag in the building communal bin. Update 3: After calling me 3 times in 6 minutes and sending me one email, which I responded to, they're still refusing to find a solution. I informed them that the Consumer Rights Act 2015 says that services must be provided with reasonable care and skill, and in my opinion, they did not use reasonable care and skill when they provided this service. This is unfortunate, but to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else after me, I reported the business to Trading Standards.

Bad customer service received. As a loyal customer who have spent several hundred pounds from this supplier on raclette cheese through the years, I was incredibly disappointed with the response I received after I last week received a danish product called “Remoulade”. This is a product used for Christmas, but when receiving the product it had expiry date (best before) on 21st November, 2 weeks and 3 days after delivery on 4th November. I contacted EuropaFoods who told me that they were unable to send me a refund of the £3 or send me another product, as that expiry date was satisfactory for them. Knowing this product, i know this can usually last in fridge for months, and attached screenshot is from supplier directly confirming it has a shelf life of up to 120 days, so giving 2 weeks to a customer is not a long expiry date… Bad bad service and I will be looking for another supplier for our cheese purchases in the future.

The shop has a great selection of food. From Sweden, France, Italy and more countries. You can order online and collect from here for free. There is a huge selection to choose from. It only took 2 days for my order to arrive and they told me exactly when I could collect it. The staff there were very friendly. This is a busy shop with online orders, locals, tourists and delivery drivers fighting for the attention of the cashier so be prepared to wait and to be quick during peak hours. They fit a lot in here, so it is quite crowded towards the back or the shop. It is more expensive here than it would be in France, but that is a given and they have to earn their profit. But worth it for the items you absolutely cannot find in the UK. Some items (like some French brands) could be found in Waitrose, but some items are impossible.

The guy working in this shop is the most rudes arrogant person I have ever met. Today I tried to purchase some fruit. There is only one till and one young lady who must be learning as she was very slow and methodical. Not a problem but when I went to pay she just stood there looking at me, I went to put my items on the counter and she said one word ‘wait’ I waited for over a minute which is a long time when your just standing with good in your arms. Finally another guy appeared with a packet of Chrisps and walked in front of me. Then it became clear she was serving him and he walked off to get the chrisps. She then spent several minutes ringing up 4 individual cans of beer and the chrisps. Still not a problem and I was happy to wait. We all need to learn. Then the customer she was serving said “ can you split this into two bills” she now had to void the transaction and start again. At that moment the obnoxious manager or owner man appeared from the back and walked over saying to the girl is everything ok. She looked at him clearly still trying to deal with the customer. As the guy looked at me I smiled at said it’s a little slow. His response in a curt rude tone “ these a supermarket over the road if you don’t like it”. At which point I put down my items and walked out telling him how rude he was on my way out. As a local I use to try and share my business but now I would suggest all local friends avoid this shop and very rude guy. Just go to Nisa opposite where the whole family are friendly and willing to help.

Great to see you have time to further extend your response. You should be a politician considering the spin you have added to the situation. The one customer who was being served was not interested and my comments where clearly directed at you not the young lady who was doing her best. I suggest you check your cctv for the fact. As for never seeing me before just goes to show how often you recognise your customers. I've lived here for may years and have 2 houses in the area and recently in the past 3 years walk by every day with my dog. As for having the time, fortunately being very successful in my life I have lots of time to point out rude people to try and improve the world a little. Less rudeness and more positivity makes the world a...

Replying to more lies from the Europafood: That is a lie that you check with the courier, reviewed all procedures and processes, it was Easter holiday. And the only investigation you have done is check the warehouse camera. As I claimed earlier, you are implying here I am cheating on you about missing the product. And would NOT do anyting further. Do you think your customer want to go through all this trouble to get £26? It only shows how disappointed I am about your service. I have reported your behaviours to Trading Standards. Maybe its the best you keep my £26 and upgrade your customer service and camera.

The WORST customer service I have ever experienced. DO NOT buy anything from this company. I received a parcel, and 1 item did not arrive. I complained to them, and they told me they will NOT do anything further, no replacement or refund. They claimed that the warehouse packed the item and implied that I was trying to cheat them (stealing). The manager doesn't even bother to solve...
