Unwelcoming staff, don't recommend this place. Doors open, walk in "we're not open". Ask if I can take a pic/video of the place "can't you wait 10 minutes" can't you have welcoming staff?

Edit 2: Looks like all the negative reviews are entirely about the staff's lack of service and attitude. My review is no different, nothing to say about the premises or how they operate, but just how unwelcome you can be made to feel here. People who want to have a nice time and a drink, there are a few better spots no more than 100m away.

I'm afraid you've entirely misunderstood the point. Naturally we are not complaining that the business wasn't open earlier than the advertised time, and to clarify none of the below was actually taking place but grateful for your extended explanation and that you take such precautions.

The actual point of this review is that your staff were exceedingly rude for customers coming in earlier than advertised, we meant no harm and did not touch anything on the premises. The way we were looked at and responded to did not at all reflect other reviews nor show that you care about customers. We were made to feel like we were beggars off the street, I can't reconcile with coming to a place to spend money and having people roll their eyes and talk down to us, no matter if we turned up early, late or whatever. There is no justification for the rudeness we were shown.

I've worked bars and retail when I was younger, so can first hand understand how sometimes people walking in do so at the wrong time, or sometimes staff just have a bad day. In this case your staff were unnecessarily rude and that's not something people forget about a place that easily.

Visited here today have pre booked and paid for one of the console booths, myself and my partner went out of our way to travel here taking 40 minutes worth of public transport and our experience solidifies that we will not be coming back.

I just want to start with saying we have been here previously and had a lovely time, the staff from our previous visits were great and really friendly. Today we went in, told the person behind the bar we had pre booked (after waiting for a few minutes for them to acknowledge our existence) so they told us to sit down at the booth. We sat there and waited expecting someone to bring us the controllers to allow us to play, after waiting 10 minutes and asking a staff member we were told to go back to the bar to get them. We went back to the bar to ask for the controllers, even though they should have been given to us in the first place as it was the same person who told us to sit down, we were then charged again for the console (even though we had already paid through their website) so now we had been charged double. Again please bear in mind we told them we had pre booked and there was a sign on our table saying we had pre booked, which you can only do if you pre pay.

They have also switched out the consoles for modded ones which could make it harder for those who don’t understand who to use these. The games were fun but due to the cold and unwelcoming atmosphere we left an hour and a half early. I feel really sad with our experience today and honestly ripped off with having to pay double. Started off well. Two quarters a game, 15 for £5 well priced, happy kids. Took my son and a friend here as a little treat for his birthday last night. Staff were very off. Someone would start to take an order then hand over to someone else, the second person proceeded to put her coat on and leave the bar mid order. Staff were constantly rolling cigarettes whilst behind the bar serving. Two friends joined me for a beer and burger, we all ordered at the same time. Two friends got their food and finished, kids and I still waiting for our food. Staff all huddled over the counter where the food is being placed. Whilst waiting a guy came up and said whilst he’s not demanding we leave, kids need to be out by 7 (he didn’t mention this when taking our food order).. I’ve now gone to speak with him to tell him we’re leaving as I felt uncomfortable and was still waiting for kids food as the buzzer rang for the food order. He proceeded to refund me as the “chef” walked over with a really disgusting attitude stating the food is ready why you refunding her and walked off after she kissed her teeth at me. I asked who the manager was and surprisingly he was the supervisor and his “mate Simon” is the manager.
