I went there for my lunch one day this past summer . I HAD THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA MARGHERITA IN MY LIFE !!! I'd watched many videos mentioning Franco Manca ( various locations ) ,so when accidentally spotted two of 'em in London this summer ,I was excited !! I went to one . It didn't disappoint !! The owner was very friendly &( very Italian )& polite & I had a vegan Margherita there .IT WAS THE BEST VEGAN MARGHERITA I've ever had !!! With fresh basils on it !! A side đŸ„—with my pizza, I had a scoop of vanilla ice cream ,too . It was also delicious !! A bottle of my fave Aqua Panna and a cuppa ( tea )later !They were all reasonably priced !! Very affordable !! The restaurant was very clean & I liked the very nice layout &vibe & had a toilet downstairs & it was very clean also. The location was also great as it was very closed to the Earl's court tube station & my hotel Point A Kensington Olympia !! I really loved the hotel & the area !! And this restaurant !! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITALIAN RESTAURANT FOR A VEGAN PIZZA MARGHERITA !!! 🍕 😋 I told the owner that we didn't have the cheese ( Bio ? ) here in L.A.,my sis told me we do !! Lol. But,the way they prepared / cooked the pizza &the thin crust all that made the differences & it was FABULOUS !!! I was a vegan for 17 years & vegetarian now for 13 years ,but never had that like the one at FRANCO MANCA'S !!! It just makes me salivating now just to think of it !!! Lol .If you are a vegan ,or vegetarian & who are on a budget visiting the area ( it's all over London ,too ! ) & craving for a vegan pizza Margherita ,or who just wanna have a very yummy satisfying vegan pizza Margherita ,THIS IS THE PLACE !!! I wish if I lived near there ,then I'll be there every week !! Lol. 🇼đŸ‡č💕 All for those I paid ÂŁ19 ~ÂŁ20 ,I believe !!! And I put a tip added to my bill !

We waited around 15 minutes just to be acknowledged after arriving, which wasn’t a great start. When we were finally seated, it was at one of those tiny square tables in the middle of the restaurant with two stools instead of chairs—no backs to lean on, and nowhere to hang our coats, so we ended up keeping them on our laps for the entire meal. To make things worse, our group of six was split across two small tables, even though there were several larger tables available right by the prep area. Strangely, those tables were only being used by staff, while we were left squeezed onto uncomfortable stools in the middle of the room. Our waitress with blue dreads never smiled and did her job with no enthusiasm at all. I don’t expect over-the-top friendliness, but I also don’t want to be served by someone who clearly doesn’t enjoy what they’re doing. On a positive note, once we finished our pizzas, a different staff member came to clear the plates. He was polite, smiling, and even apologised for the long wait when we arrived — a small gesture that was genuinely appreciated. As for the food, it was okay — nothing terrible, but nothing that would make me want to come back. Overall, the uncomfortable seating, lack of warmth, and poor organisation really took away from the experience. Even though the pizza was fine, I definitely won’t be returning.

After 2 years, I have to change my review from 5 starts to 2 stars. I went last night with my friends to Earl’s Court, and the pizza was amazing, as before, but the customer service was not. The girl who served us was very rude and impolite. She used to be nice in the past. But last night I was shocked by her behaviour. Well, maybe it was just a bad day for her. We’ve been asked why we did not booked a table (because we were 6 people coming at 18:30PM). However, I called the restaurant beforehand, and I’ve been told that they don’t take bookings. Therefore, they may need some extra training, so they are all on the same page? Also the same girl, when she brought the pizzas felt very unprofessional. It’s so sad. I was so excited to come to Franco manca after nearly 2 years. Especially in Earl’s Court. I used to be a regular customer. Next time when I come back to London, I know that I won’t choose Earl’s Court anymore. I still love the quality of the food though.

Pity. Regular @ FM in Bermondsey but obviously not for at least 2 years now. Tried a click and collect from FM in Earl's Court. Forced to create an account which kept giving an error message when paying. Discovered that they store your credit card details without consent although they force you to create and account to order. So called-in the order - waitress with an American accent was very pleasant, took the order and told me it would take 10-15min. It's just round the corner so I turned up @ about 12 min. Sweltering hot in the restaurant. The girl with the same accent was very different when I told her I was collecting the phoned-in order. Told me it would be another 10-15min. It was too hot to wait in the restaurant and she didn't care if I had to wait standing on the sidewalk due to her error in timing ...if it's going to take 25min tell me and I'll turn up then ... Simple ... After another 10min another waitress told me that that waitress was "boxing up" the pizzas ... I told her that if the pizzas are baked in a wood fired oven they would usually take 20min and she proudly told me that this oven takes 50secs! I replied that it was already taking 20min....Waited another almost 10 min when I was told that the pizzas were "just going into the oven"! Appalling service! Anyway, fortunately the quality of the pizzas and the salad (really great fresh quality ingredients) saved a potential 2-star review ... It's just the service (and note a similar bad review about the same branch restaurant 5mo ago) was just terrible. Anchovies, spiced salami, the bresaola and esp the mozzarella (it just bursts in your mouth) and the roasted tomatoes - all superb quality. The sourdough base is lovely - flavoured and chewy but the 50sec oven says it all - the base is too charred and the charred areas overpower the flavour of the sourdough. Would be better in a traditional wood...

Great pizza but really poor service at this particular branch in Earl’s court. I visited Franco Manca in many places but I was disappointed for the first time. Firstly, the waitress barely spoke any English and could not explain to us what exactly were wild broccoli. She asked another guy to come and explain and he said that they just have “normal broccoli”. So we decided to add broccoli on one of the pizzas. But as it turns out it was a different kind of broccoli from what we expected and did not like the taste. When we asked the male waiter later I think he said it is called “rapini”. Anyhow, they charged us an extra £1.60 for this vegetable that we didn’t eat at the end. Secondly, the waitress asked us if we would like any tomato sauce on the pizza without mentioning that there is an extra charge for it. We said ok and when the bill came we realised that they charged us for the sauce too. Thirdly, our bill total was £22 and we asked to pay by card. The male waiter took the card and tapped it on the machine without showing us what he was doing which I thought was a bit odd and unusual. I took the card receipt and saw that instead of charging us £22 as was shown on the bill he had charged us £25. We didn’t say anything as we wanted to avoid an awkward situation but we felt really disappointed in the service and it felt like we were stolen. It’s such a shame as we are regular customers of Franco Manca and we hope that this doesn’t happen again to us or anyone else...
