Franco Manca pizza restaurant is a culinary haven for pizza lovers who crave an authentic taste of Italy. As you step inside the restaurant, the aroma of freshly baked pizza dough and rich tomato sauce welcomes you, creating an immediate sensory experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is cozy and warm, with a decor that captures the rustic charm of Italy. The walls was adorned with traditional Italian art, and the lighting was soft and dimmed, creating a relaxing and intimate ambiance. The centerpiece of the restaurant is a large wood-fired oven, where the skilled pizzaiolo prepares the delicious pizzas. The dough is made fresh daily and is hand-stretched to create the perfect crust. The toppings vary, ranging from classic Margherita with fresh mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce to creative combinations like prosciutto and arugula, or truffle and mushroom. The  restaurant offers a  selection of Italian wines, beers, and cocktails. The service was warm and friendly, with attentive staff who are passionate about their craft and eager to make your dining experience exceptional. And as you savor each bite of your pizza, you'll be transported to Italy, feeling the warmth of the sun on your face and the love and passion that goes into every dish. Franco Manca pizza restaurant is a delightful destination for anyone who loves pizza, Italian cuisine, and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere.Thank you!!!

Good spot right outside the station, with a good amount of seating and fresh pizza out of the oven. Good choice of sourdough pizzas, lite bites, salads and drinks. Good attentive service from the staff. But a tip/service charge is automatically added to your bill. Can't fault the pizzas, plenty of choices for everyone's taste and they were very well made. Really nice base, crispy sourdough edges and the right amount of toppings. The option to add extra toppings wasn't that attractive. The place wasn't that busy even on a Friday evening, and had a good range of seats still available. Did find the Enzo Seven beer served from the can was 3 months out of date. (BBE: May 23). Didn't want a fuss or another beer but just thought I'll let the staff know for future. But the manger came over and tried to explain that BBE doesn't mean 'best before End', but 'best before Extension'? Anyway, didn't want a fuss and was just trying to give the heads up. So do check how old the beer is next time you order, as it's likely it will be past its best as there are still serving the same stock.

First time to this branch. Nice and cosy. Busy. Clean. Staff were friendly and pleasant. Service was efficient, despite being busy. Food comes out quickly after ordering but is nicely presented and freshly made. I went with my favourite pizza or number 5 which comprised cantabrian anchovies, organic tomato, mozzarella, kalamata black olives, capers, garlic & oregano with a soft drink. Very good as always and delicious. I could have done with one or two more anchovies. Too many would make the pizza salty but just maybe as I said, one or two more. Very good otherwise. They have other items on the menu as well but go for the pizza as this is what they are known for.

I usually like Franco Manco but this was the first time I visited the one in Holborn. First of all, there was no customers so the service should be beyond expectations, well it was not. Not even average. There was one waiter. He looked at me and it was as if no one came in when the sign clearly states ‘wait near the door till you get seated’. He was not friendly and no hospitality whatsoever. While waiting for my order, I saw this waiter while closing a box of Franco Manco, he SNEEZEDDDDDDD and the box was open. I saw his face go up and down and he hid it under the opening of the box. I mean the level of disgust I felt was horrible. I wanted to leave immediately. Anyway, he was sick, sneezing and snorting every few minutes. He was serving my plate and talked, while saliva flew out of his mouth and came on my pizza. I saw it. The pizza was not cut in slices I mean how would you expect someone to eat a pizza? The way he was serving me my plate shoving it in my face instead of putting it on the table because its HOT was unbelievable. Twice. And when someone asks a waiter for something like bruschetta with tomatoes, I don’t think a waiter should recommend ‘garlic bread’ because they’re nothing like bruschetta and they’re disgusting. Unfortunately, my experience and the treatment was the worst I have encountered. Before leaving, I saw the manager and another waiting greeting customers with a big smile and hospitality. Well I wish I came in 30 minutes later in that case, wouldn’t have had someone’s saliva in my food, and I would have been greeted in a...

Writing this review inside the restaurant so you know how bad this is. Normally like franco manca in Victoria, no complaints from there, but Holborn was disgusting. Walked in, some guy waved us to go to a table. Was ignored for atleast 15 mins after we tried getting attention to have our order taken. When the guy came to take our order, he gave us the dirtiest look someone can give, me and my boyfriend looked at eachother in disbelief. After asking for tap water, he said with an attitude, tap?. After saying what food we wanted he just walked away mid sentence and didn’t speak to us other than the tap comment. Waited 15 mins for food (fine by me) pizza was not sliced. The pizza was on the raw side so hard to slice with a knife and fork. We asked for a pizza slicer (which took a further 5 mins as the workers were walking past us and as we said excuse me in a polite way, they just completely ignored us), and a different man said why can’t you just use a knife and fork like everybody else. He only cut my partners pizza not mine and at this point I didn’t want to have any further interactions with anybody here. Took the service charge off and he had attitude about that too muttering under his breath. I work in hospitality and pay service all the time and tip also, I would be doing myself a disservice if I agreed to pay for that service. Staff are rude, just chatting all the time with no cares. Higher management need to come and fix this place, as other branches are a LOT better. AVOID...
