This is a store full of DISCRIMINATION, and I did feel NOT welcomed at that store, which affected my experience at Gail's, which was originally a coffee and bread brand that I really liked. After I bought a few portions of the store's assistants' "picky" tgtg containing nutty sourdough, I hoped that the clerk could help me cut it into pieces, but the clerk only apologized to me for turning off the machine BEFORE the store was closed actually, and did not cut bread for me. The clerk was just the one who made two cups of latte and steamed the milk together, one for me and the other for some one else, ignoring the quality of the drink and streamed milk, and made me a "cappuccino" to replace latte with rich foam! I don't have any knives at home, so I chose to go to the store the next day hoping to help me, but guess what? The assistants refused me again on the grounds of food source issues. I don't know if the assistant thinks I'm Asian and speculates that I might be tampering with food? I really don't know how a store that focuses on baking and coffee can bring such trouble to customers and hope to provide a better service experience. This is unacceptable, as it wastes food and prevents customers from enjoying it, while also greatly reducing their experience. The only things I advise you is keeping away from this store. There are also some good stores of Gail's in bloomsbury and euston.

I was third time lucky with my order, the avocado and the salmon bagel not being available (no bagels). The quiche was nice enough but neither warm, nor cold. A member of staff said it wasn't warmed up, so I suppose the display cabinet kept it slightly warm. The flat white coffee seemed very small (no different sizes were listed on the board), though take out paper cups seemed more generous. It was served in a cup with no saucer. The staff did not seem very happy and were not very friendly, one guy was telling off one poor girl and I don't expect I will come here again.

A wide range of food and dietary options to choose from. I had the smoked tuna bagel and hot matcha latte with oat milk. Smoked tuna and bagel was fresh and flavourful. Hot matcha latte was great, you can taste the flavour of good matcha. There are seats both inside and outside of the store, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Service was great, staff was attentive and helpful. I asked for recommendations on savoury food and I was not disappointed. It’s a great place for a nice break during work or just resting your legs in the shopping centre.

The person in front of me in the queue was ordering many different items; 10 at least. I'm disabled so standing for a period of time is painful for me. There was only one staff member serving. After 12 mins or so another staff member arrived to help with the queue. Some people had already given up and left the queue by then. I was sorely tempted too, as Waitrose has good bread and bakery products as well. I won't wait in the queue next time but will move on to Waitrose instead. Just to add that the bread that I bought here wasn't as nice as the bread from Waitrose, next door, and was double the price! I won't go...
