I was in London for a few hours and didn't have enough time to go to other Persian restaurants that I have tried before and trusted. I've read the reviews and the score were 4 so walked in to the restaurant not expecting either very good service or food. But it was a big surprise! The guy came to take our order "Neshan" were super friendly and nice. Asked if we like some water for the table and came back immediately with jar of cold water with ice and lemon and pour in the glass. ordered Tah Dig and Khoresht (Stew) Fesenjoon as starter and the Spicy Platter with rice. After we ordered another staff "Soheila" came to our table and explained, there are other type of Khoresht(s) which we can order with Tah Dig, which was helpful but we decided to stay with Fesenjoon.
Tah Dig and Fesenjoon was absolutely delicious, one of the best. savory enough and really tasty. Highly recommended :D
It took a few minutes after we finished starter to bring the main and Neshan came with the food and apologies for the delay and brought us an extra dish of Fesenjoon to compensate. The restaurant was really busy for a Tuesday evening and a little delay was totally acceptable but they were kind and very polite. Just exactly the way that you would like to be treated as a customer. The Spicy platter was delicious specially Koobideh and Chenjeh kabab. personally I am not fan of Charmoula chicken which was Jooje kabab (Grilled Chicken) with Pesto. I would probably change Charmoula chicken with Chenjeh kabab next time! Finally we had Persian tea and Napeloni (kind of a creamy Pastry) which was fresh, delicious and good portion, Good enough to share between two of us.
Long story short, The food was tasty and hospitality was great. Compare to other Persian restaurant in London, Personally I think this restaurant should score much higher if it comes to food and hospitality, of course there are more modern or decorated nicer Persian restaurant in London but if you looking for good food and staff that looking after you, This is the place. I will definitely...
Read moreCame here for lunch after being at the Porchester spa opposite. The portion size of the light mixed mezze for £19 was tiny. 6 miniature plates of dips, olives, tabbouleh and two slices of halloumi. Small portion of bread to accompany, and when we asked for more (twice) it finally came completely crispy and brittle. We were charged an extra £2 for it. The portion of falafel was very dry and old tasting. Rather like some out-of-date ones from a local shop I found at the back of my freezer once! When I complained to the waitress that they were dry and old tasting I was told that falafel is not an Iranian dish and so not a speciality. Why are you serving it then? The rest of the service was very slow, despite there being only two other tables in. We asked for the bread twice, and for water twice. The pomegranate soup was delicious and brings my review to a 2 star and not a 1 star, but definitely not worth the hefty price tag, mean portion sizes, and...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Galleria with my volleyball teammates, and we all had an amazing experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, which set the tone for a great evening.
The food was truly authentic, with rich flavors that transported us straight to Iran. The starters were fresh and delicious, and the kebabs were cooked to perfection—juicy, tender, and full of flavor. One thing that really stood out was the presentation; the serving plates were stunning and added a special touch to the experience.
The restaurant is spacious and comfortable, making it a great spot for groups. Everything was spotless, including the toilets, which is always a plus.
We all had a fantastic time and will definitely be going again. If you're looking for great Persian food with excellent service in a welcoming setting, I highly...
