Ginger & Moore — Restaurant in London

I never really leave bad reviews but i feel like I have to here. My first experience here (a few months back) was okay. Now this time I wish I could give zero stars (particularly for service and atmosphere). This is the second time i've come, had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Workers seem unhappy. Unpleasant service (not accommodating at all as we asked for quiet space to do work and we were told we can't because the lady serving can't walk downstairs. Even when we offered to come and get our orders ourselves, she still refused. We couldn't have been any more polite. Also, there was no WIFI). Moreover, some of the crowd sitting next to us were just rude. We would not recommend. My intention was to buy lunch here but did not want to spend any more money after our experience. My 1st visit with a dear childhood friend.. Where i loved the decor & ambience, i was a bit disappointed with the cashier who served us !! My friend regularly goes there, so i had high hopes, sadly the cashiers customer service let them down.. She seemed irritated, impatient, in a hurry & eager to get rid of us, something that surprised me !! Another thing was that my teacup was not clean, but was quickly changed when i showed the lovely young man.. The food however was lovely, organic/wholesome/tasty/different, the mint & jasmine tea was refreshing yet relaxing if that makes any sense !! It was a windy & rainy day, yet Ginger & Moore was a lovely retreat where you can easily lose track of time, something me & my friend thoroughly enjoyed.. I love ppl watching & was fascinated at the clientele, which proves anyone can go there, no matter whether you like sweet...

OK, so it was hot today so this has impactedy my thoughts as the experience was not as good as I have heard from a couple of people.

I met a friend this morning at Ginger & Moore. We entered the shop and it was hot in there - the temperature was cooler outside. We ordered two ice lattes and they were not that cold and had no ice?!

I asked if they could turn on the air condition ing and they said it was already on. It was not on and there was no cool air coming from it. I understand energy prices have gone up but this is a business, so was expexting them to switch it on. So I gave up and that was an abrupt end to my experience there.

I wish I could say there was a saving grace but unfortunately there was not. As someone local, I hate to "not recommend" the place so have given it a 3 star. Hopefully, there will be better customer...
