I ordered a few items for a corporate party. 24 patties and 4 portions of curry goat.

The service from this business was unfortunately poor given we have previously ordered from here with again not the best service, however we wanted to give the place another chance.

I called at 11am to place a last minute order, which we were fortunate enough for the business to accept. However, the professionalism and manners was lacking.

Beginning with telephone etiquette, the lady that answered the phone did not introduce the business , the staff member did not ask for any details whilst taking the order i.e. name and phone number, the staff member was not aware of what was in stock and what was not and therefore was not able to advise effectively, the staff member also ended the call before I was able to answer all the necessary questions around my order. I had to call back. This is something I would not have commented on, however it set the tone for the lack of professionalism that we encountered as we went to pick up our order.

As we went to pick up the order, the front desk was busy, that being said the staff member was completely unaware of the order- poor communication amongst the staff. We were told the food was ready 20 mins ago, however, as we picked the items up they were fresh out of the oven. They were ill prepared and accepted an order they weren't able to complete by the time it was requested of them.

The total of my order came to £49, however the member of staff tried to charge £53.49.

The containers were severely under packed with plenty of empty space. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take pictures in time.

The patties were nicely prepared and labelled. None the less the poor service overpowered any...

Disappointed that they were doing a limited menu when we visited and didn't have the daily specials on. However this is understandable in the current situation we all find ourselves in.

Both the curried lamb and brown beef were superb, only minor criticism is that they were a little dry, more liquid would make them excellent. The rice and peas were excellent though.

Also bought some lamb and beef patties, these however weren't as good as the main meals, whilst the pastry was good we found the filling to be far to mushy for our liking.

Will definitely try the main meals the next time we are...

Terrible. Will not be going there again. Paid for 3 patties and waited for 15/20 minutes when it was right behind the till. I asked the lady with the chipped front tooth to speed up abit politely and she started with all these excuses (I’m not an octopus etc etc) Moves like a slug get her out of there. Walks away while talking to customers. Poor customer service. Worse than poor. She didn’t wanna serve me the patties after I said can you hurry up. And kept my money. Poor. Didn’t even wanna...
