Superdrug — Local services in London

Honestly one of the worst shopping experiences I’ve ever had in Superdrug. I went in ready to spend around £30–£40, but I walked straight out because of how rude and unprofessional the manager was.

There were sprays on the shelf that were already open and half used, so naturally, I tried one to see what it smelled like before buying it. The manager stormed over and started telling me off, saying they “weren’t testers.” I explained that they were already opened and half empty — so why are they even on the shelf if customers aren’t allowed to check them? Her attitude was completely unnecessary and patronising.

To make things worse, right before that, she had loudly accused another customer of opening a product that was already open. The poor woman was just looking at it, and the manager made a whole scene in front of everyone. It was so embarrassing and uncomfortable to watch.

I’ve honestly never been treated like that in a shop. Instead of fixing the issue (which was the fact that open products were still out for sale), she decided to talk down to paying customers. This is exactly why I usually shop at Boots — they actually treat people with respect.

Superdrug really needs to train their staff properly, especially their managers. I left the store feeling angry, disrespected, and totally put off ever shopping...

Really bad experience that I do not wish upon anyone. Went to check some hair colours with a friend at the above place. As we did not buy anything at the time we walked away, and as we did the alarm went off. i totally realised the security guy came after us and asked me to go back inside and EMPTY MY POCKETS. I sure was fine with it as it happens. However he kept on shouting "empty your pockets".I was actually horrified as to the way he was speaking to me and made sure to say that he was wrong in his assumptions and that there was no need to speak like that as I was inside the shop. cutting the event short two other ladies arrived and one was talking to me and supporting the security. at no point my friend was asked to be searched... and all i was trying to point was that you do not have the right to talk to me like that and if i feel that way you don't talk to me like that, full stop. no one stopped him doing his job...but why be rude and judgmental??? another massive point is that i was the only black Queen in this series of events. I guess i have to give a 1 start otherwise it would have none. do not recommend at all. they are not attentive, respectful and as for costumer service.... my advise is take your money where you feel good not just because you need to buy something. you...

I do shopping in this place about two years The prices on the sistem doesn’t matches with the shelves prices They charge you more on the till Be careful!!! I did shopping for twice today They charged me more for each time The till staff called the manager to come to refund me the money The assistant manager TAJ came , he has lowest experience as an assistant manager there, he charged more than to do refound to me, after that he need to refound me double the amount he charged me I went back to buy something again , the same problem, they charged more on the till The prices on the shelves doesn’t match with the sistem Also TAJ was called again by the till staff, also TAJ was angry about that, not me , was my right,l supposed, he was rude with me, TAJ told me that, why l took pictures from shelves prices to prove them on the till, the prices doesn’t match with the sistem prices That’s is happening for a long time , the store manager knows about that, also other assistants manager knows about that, but they doesn’t do anything, they charge the customers everyday, anytime Anytime l m going there , they charged me more, for that l started to take pictures to prove them ITS...
