This mega-venue dwells within the Nova building at Victoria and is a mixture of pub, restaurant and sports lounge set across 2 giant floors. I was craving something crispy and opted for the Chilli squid with aioli. It was perfectly fresh and satisfying, even better with a chilled glass of Picpoul. My client was suitably impressed with her saucy Korean chicken wings with sesame seeds. The menu has a tempting selection of pizza and burgers, but I’d heard Greenwood sources the freshest fish. With this in mind, I chose to tuck in to Teriyaki Salmon with broccoli, bean sprouts and red pepper. True enough, the fish was beautifully moist and tasted absolutely delicious. My companion enjoyed a Falafel burger with harissa, tahini mayo and grilled halloumi. She described it as being subtly seasoned with an exotic warmth. I’ll be trying that next time! With our hungers sated, we were given the grand tour of the establishment. The ground floor is made up of the main bar and lounge area, plus some swanky private spaces of varying sizes, available to hire privately. We headed upstairs to check out the Sports lounge, complete with shuffleboards, pinball machines, several TV screens and 2 American 8 ball pool tables.

Me and a friend went to watch the women’s semi finals. The commentary is played through speakers so it was a lively atmosphere, which we enjoyed and the food was nice. We had a clear view & the hosts, though busy, were friendly. The bottle of Prosecco we ordered came warm as the wine fridge appeared to be 18 degrees. We were given the bill as soon as we had finished dessert, despite having booked the table for another hour, we then had to pay as we go for each of our drinks after. Our waiter, after rushing to close our tab then stood over us and asked as for a 5 star review with his name on as they’re “playing a game”. We agreed and he then asked us to do it right then and there in front of him and would not leave until we had written one…. (I’ve since deleted) This was during the football match that we’d booked to see, so we were trying to watch the game while writing reviews. Sticky toffee pudding was great though and I would recommend!

Barmaid was more interesting on chatting to her friend and took 15 minutes to make a simple cocktail because she was not doing her job, the taller male bartender served like 15 people before she decided to serve me, after finishing chatting to her friend she decided it was time to relax and maybe do some cleaning here and there knowing perfectly well I was waiting for long time (this was my first and last drink because of her), need to hire better people as in times like this I am sure you could do with more customers, my friends were on their way but told them not to bother and I would meet them somewhere else because in here it was a literally waste of time, not impress and the managers should be ashamed of themselves.

Terrible experience!! Genuinely awful!! Very poor service, rude and discriminatory, incredibly rude behaviour from someone calling himself the owner of the place ‘David Vilhena’. I came to watch the final match of the world cup and I was standing with many other people who were also standing to watch the final, where he came and ask me to move outside, I told him I am watching the final and receptionist told me I can stand anywhere and the place was so crowded, he told me I own the place and I want you OUT OF THE PREMISES. I told him you can’t kick me out with no reason, and I asked him to bring the police, he called me rude because I didn’t “OBEY” to him by kicking me out of the place. He then brought two security men where they hold me from both side Infront of everyone and literally kicked me out of the place!!!!! I was traumatised and called the police where they asked me to go back and ask to talk to customer service and make a complain about what happened. I went back to the reception and asked to talk to the customer service or another person in charge of the place as I want to make a complain when he came back immediately and didn’t let me talk to anyone else and insisted to leave and keep saying I own the place and I don’t want you in. this boy obviously has significant mental issues that he need to seek professional help for it, he kept saying that I didn’t ‘obey’ him and that he own the place and can do whatever he want!! Worst customer experience I ever had in my entire life. Can’t believe that such service exists in London. Shame I have to...

Attended the venue today for a work gathering. This was my first visit. It was extremely expensive and for the money a terrible service.

The majority of the bar stuff seemed very confused. I witnessed multiple bar staff struggling to take orders as the bar stuff could not understand what was being asked for (even when it was being stated slowly and clearly).

It took a very long time to get the attention of bar staff and I was then charged £7.50 for a pint. I think a regular glass of wine was £10. Each time I went to the bar I experienced a similar problem. Bar staff seemed lost and confused.

What was even more worrying was that I watched one barman make a cocktail. He then asked another barman to taste it. He put a straw in to get some of the drink, put the straw in his mouth and then put the same dirty straw back in the customers drink to taste it again, and then served the drink to a customer. That is absolutely disgusting and a health and safety concern.

It was also pretty funny watching a large corporate group being served a giant bucket of beer and bottles of coke with no bottle opener. The group then asked multiple times for a bottle opener as they could not actually open any of the bottles they had been given. That seemed to drag on for a very long time with the group growing more and more frustrated.

There are better places to drink in the area. More affordable and with better service. The hygiene issues need to...

I want to be up front about this; everything about this place was contrary to my preferences.

I hate sports. I hate loud crowded bars. I hate expensive places. I'm sure this is a great place for sports enthusiasts or people who like American sport bars, big screens and such. That's not me, I like quiet reasonable pubs. I like smaller bars. I like to be able to talk.

I visited during a game, I say visted, I was dragged here. It was abject misery for me. I will say the staff were great, efficient and nice. The bar is over 2 floors and a very big space. It's very modern and I'm sure would be great during a quiet time.

That said, while I can't speak for the food, the drinks were very expensive. I did not like that the payment defaults to asking about tips as that felt predatory as the bar is targeting American customers who are used to tipping. Unlike America, all staff in the UK are fully subject to wage regulations and tips are not factored into this. It's nice to get tips but it is not and should not be the default here. Additionally, when one cocktail is costing £14, the prices are very high. Location is a factor in this I accept, but these prices are high and the tip is somewhat absurd.

The food did smell good. As said, the staff were great. Unfortunately I can't rate this bar highly as for me personally it was an awful experience but it was no...
