Hong Kong Takeaway Hoxton — Restaurant in London

So I've ordered from this place a few times, face to face and via Uber eats. Tonight was the last straw. X2 times Face to face they got my order once the girl and 2nd time the man. Well tonight when ordering via Uber when getting my order the man obviously read my order wrong and put prawns in my husbands chicken fried rice. He is allergic to sea food and I did not order that.

I called via phone and the man kept speaking over and over and over me. He was like so you want king prawn when for the millionth time I said my husbands allergic and that is not what I ordered. He looked at my Uber order and finally said it was his fault and read the order wrong. Next time he will give meal for free I was like no my husband has been in work all day and needs his dinner. All he kept say was no driver no driver contact under contact Uber. Not my problem you messed my order and deliver there order yourself if you have too. Kept speaking over me no realising the seriousness of contamination of food. He hung up on me in the end. I matched down there and all he kept saying was sorry sorry sorry no driver I give you chicken rice and a free chow mein. Not acceptable. I took the fresh food and walked out. I have every right to contact the food standards...

I had a very disappointing and unsafe experience with this takeaway. I ordered prawns but received nothing but flour – not a single prawn in the dish. The rest of the food was inedible and made me feel unwell. When I called to complain and request a refund, the customer service was extremely poor and unhelpful. I would strongly advise others not to order from here. I need to have this restaurant takeaway. They need to be reported to trading standards for health and safety reasons.I don't understand why this hasn't been reported.Or they've not been shut down. How are these reports identified by the right department?

Boyfriend has moved to the area, so we decided to try our local last week. We got the classic lemon chicken and noodles with a 1/4 duck to share, and it was absolutely lovely! With the level of business they had on the evening, we were thoroughly impressed with the service and hand-on-heart were only sat in there for about 10 minutes waiting for our food. It was an overall pleasant experience and we will be coming back for absolute sure. The girl working behind the till (on her own, no less!) was so friendly, efficient and made our evening. Kudos to her, will be coming back so hope I can solidify my status...
