Overall, the experience was pleasant. We booked a table to enjoy the footy over some food and drinks. The vibe was good and there were ample screens to watch the World Cup on. The food was delicious, but we did order a kg of chicken wings for the table only for about 6 to arrive and the waitress confirming this was correct. £26 for 6 chicken wings, really? More of a sports bar than I expected, with large screens on two levels. Nevertheless, an attractive space with light wood flooring and surroundings. A large selection of craft beers and lagers available, also Young’s and Adnams cask ales.
Staff were really friendly and helpful. There are very few pubs in the area with space out front, and it quickly filled up with after work drinkers. I’m not a fan of pubs dominated by sports screens but they serve a purpose. I will, however, return for a quick after work beer or two before...
