Ok, this is a genuine gem! Myself and partner had an incredible time here and can't recommend it enough Coats taken, beautiful table set, and Patricia, our server, already there to help anyway she could! Fresh bread served with some kind of bacon/onion butter was so delicious I could have eaten that for the whole night!!! We ordered cocktails, Salted Caramel Espresso Martini and a For Love. Well these were perfection, the For Love came with its own little shaker so you could top it up and my martini was like a dessert! Yum bloody yum! Me and my lady have a little game in who will order the best for each course......here's how we got on! We order from the main menu, pigs cheeks and Clarence court egg.....starters! Pigs cheeks were fresh, perfectly cooked, moist and flavoursome! The egg....well that was in a bed of mushrooms, divine in their preparation and mixed with the poached yolk blew my mind! I lost this round! The egg has it! Main course was next but not before we had some of the salmon fizz to cleanse the palette.....nice but not necessary. Trish orders a bottle of the Chilean Grenache, a nice strong but not lingering red, with peppery tones. Was a wine I would drink for breakfast! Delicious and went amazing with the; Venison and blackberries Sirloin in the bone The venison. OUTSTANDING! DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING ELSE EVEN IF YOU ARE VEGAN.....ITS SO DELICIOUS! The sirloin.....meh. cooked perfectly, looked amazing but the taste of whatever cooked it (petrol??) Resided too much to make it preferable. Grills are good when all you can taste is the food or burnt! We want caramelised flavour, rookie mistake there. We had all the sides and all were 10/10. Chips, crunchy and crisp. Salad fresh and tangy but pointless to order if I'm honest! New potatoes were seriously spot on served with thyme! Greens, were lovely and salty, wilted to perfection! Again Trish wins! Venison all the way! 0-2! We plough through the wine and head on to the desserts..... In between this our male server came to take our plates which ended up in a lovely conversation about life, the world and everything ...you know who you are and we will be in Berlin soon!! Thank you for being so friendly and we enjoyed the intelligent conversation with you!! So, we get a great dessert wine, then order the chocolate mousse and the crème brulé! I won't mess about, Jesus the mousse was insane!!!! Crème brulé my arse . ..sorry Karolina/Carolina but this was nothing like a crème brulé......bland, topping was obviously pre made and the base was sad and flavourless....I really have had a million of these and this didn't even rank.... I lose again! 0-3 to Trish! We loved this meal. The atmosphere is amazing! You can hear the bar downstairs, the servers are the best I have ever come across and the set up is fantastic. You won't be disappointed but you might want to follow Trishas recommendations from now on! Price £££ out of 5 Big thank you to Patricia and our German server (I don't think we got your name but told your restaurant manager how good you were!). You absolutely killed it and made our night! The food is only 50%, the rest is everything else! Thank you!

The food was beautiful and the service was also very good, but the flavours were somewhat disappointing. We had the 3 course pre-theatre menu. The chicken Pâté was odd and had bits of gristle. The only flavour in the dish came from the sardines. The trout was good, if a little old fashioned in its presentation. The pork was also good, but it was just pork, nothing interesting or inventive about it. I wasn't able to eat more than a few bites of my pollock as it had no seasoning and the skin was soggy. The green sauce that came on the side was vibrant, but sadly also had no flavour. The potatoes were the only component of the dish that was seasoned and I did enjoy them. The staff did notice that I did not enjoy it, and we were not charged for this dish. For dessert we had "crème brulée" the top was unbreakable, so we could only chip away a bit at the edges and the bottom was tasty, but definitely not crème brulée. The best part was the apricot layer which went beautifully with the lavender sauce. Our other dessert was a chocolate mousse with some raspberry components. It was also good, but not spectacular. The crunchy raspberry wafer was the star as it balanced out the other soft textures. They also brought us a chocolate birthday cake which I suspect they keep a stock of frozen. It was not nice. My favorite part of the meal was my cocktail. A vanilla and passion fruit martini. It was lovely. The French martini was fine. The decor was also quite beautiful and buzzing, but if I were to return, I would stick to the bar on the first floor.

If I could give this restaurant 6 stars, I absolutely would. Indigo is one of my favourite - if not THE favourite - restaurants worldwide. The fact the entire establishment is gluten free AND dairy free is mind-blowing. As someone who is gluten and lactose intolerant, yet still indulges in other animal products, the offerings on the menu are perfectly tailored to my tastebuds and dietary requirements. The food is inventive, fresh, and flavourful. On the menu, you can find high-quality GF + DF versions of usually wheat-and-dairy filled British classics, such as Fish and Chips and Wellingtons, and more modern fare, such as Grilled Spiced Monkfish and Quail Balotine. I also appreciate the commitment to seasonal and sustainable cooking practices. I've dined here with people who don't avoid gluten and dairy, and they have also adored their meals. They are not excellent for GF/DF items - they are excellent and happen to be GF/DF. I absolutely need to highlight the homemade bread and dairy-free butter. I dream of it. I ate my roll and the entire butter spread so quickly, that my server brought me over two extra portions. I ate both of them immediately. They're that good! The atmosphere in the space is cozy and intimate, and the serve is superb. Truly a standout restaurant in London, especially for those with particular dietary requirements. A must!

I booked for the set menu and i cannot rate Indigo highly enough. i booked only one day in advance, granted it was a tuesday, but still managed to get what i would say was the best seat in the house, lovely big table for just the two of us in the mezzanine overlooking the bar. from the moment i walked in i was greeted with the smiles faces, and warmest welcome. they offered to store our bags and coats, seated me promptly and warmly before describing the story behind the cocktail menu. i have the ginger one and my mum the blueberry, forgive me i cannot remember the names, and while a little pricy, for the creativity and quality i was not disappointed. i started with the ham hock and my mum had the tomato’s and both were fresh, light and summery. next we had the steak and sole and these were definitely the stand out dishes. while we were in a rush and disappointed not to have time for dessert, which i can only imagine to have been just as wonderful, since it was my mums birthday they brought out a cake and candle which was such a kind surprise. we needed to catch a train and the concierge were so kind in flagging us a cab. the whole evening was an absolute treat and i will certainly be returning to celebrate more special occassions at Indigo.

Particular stand out was our waiter, Leroy, who was kind, helpful and always attentive throughout the evening. such professionalism was shown from all the staff but if our thanks could be passed onto him directly that would be lovely. a truly sensational waiter who showed the utmost skill and enjoyment...
