I recently visited Byron in Covent Garden, and I can confidently say it was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a while. As someone with multiple allergies, eating out can be a stressful experience, but Byron exceeded all my expectations with their exceptional care and attentiveness.
From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. They took my dietary needs seriously, asking thorough questions to ensure I could enjoy my meal safely. The menu was clearly marked with allergen information, and the team was happy to double-check ingredients and offer alternative suggestions where needed.
I opted for a custom burger with a gluten-free bun, which was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked to perfection—juicy and flavourful—and the toppings were fresh and generous. The sides were equally impressive, with crispy skin-on fries that hit the spot. It’s clear Byron prioritizes high-quality ingredients in everything they serve.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a casual meal in bustling Covent Garden. Whether you have dietary restrictions or not, Byron offers something special for everyone. I left feeling not just full but genuinely cared for—a rarity in many restaurants. I’ll definitely be returning soon. Highly...
Read moreHow big was Byron once and how down has fallen. Company created in 2007 with his first restaurant in Hight Street Kensington was one of the first business that helped to create the Burgers trend in uk. Now, Byron Covent Garden is one of the very few Byron restaurants that still exist. I am a crazy Byron Chilly Burger lover since Byron beginnings and I have been following all the many changes that the company has been doing during all these years. Reducing size portions, increasing prices and reducing meat quality (constantly changing suppliers after better prices) and other items on its menu. If you could have a Time Machine and travel to the Chilly burger from 2012 and travel back and try the current one you won’t come back again… A few months ago they reduced their beef Patty’s size and after many complaints they increased the size again. I will always come back as a Chilly Burger lover and it is still a good place to go to eat quickly before or after going to the theatre but Byron’s soul is totally gone. We’ll see for how long they will last but it looks like we still have Byron for very long time and I am happy about that. However, the general feeling is that is overpriced for...
Read moreThere's something satisfying about hearing the grills sizzling while you're waiting for you burger to come, knowing you can hear them cooking just makes them taste even better.
Super fresh tasting burgers with a good choice of toppings, wish there was more of a choice for chicken burgers.
There is a downstairs with extra seating but they seem to try and keep everyone on ground floor which isn't huge and can get very busy and very noisy, it does feel a little cramped in there, so if you like space, go when it's quieter.
There is one complaint I have, on the dessert menu for £3.50 it says "Salted Caramel Brownie Bites". I ordered this to go so I could eat them later in the hotel, however when I opened the box there was only one brownie. The menu says "Bites" this implies more than one. It tasted pretty good and was an alright size for a small brownie, but I can't help but feel like I got less than I paid for. Also again, I'd like to see more choice for desserts.
Overall, friendly staff, great burgers, dessert could do with a...
