We went for the all-you-can-eat experience and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The system wasn’t clearly explained — we thought we would be able to choose freely from the menu, but instead it was a fixed selection chosen by the chef. We were also told it would be cold dishes only, but then we were served fried warm items too, which was confusing.

On top of that, most of what we received was rice, surimi, and more chicken than expected — in a sushi experience we were hoping to see much more salmon and fresh fish. Instead, the salmon was barely present and what little fish we did get didn’t look or taste fresh.

The restaurant was also completely empty, we were the only people there, which added to the disappointing atmosphere. Overall, it was not at all the experience we were expecting and we left feeling...

We went on a rainy Sunday evening and it was perfect, a nice, welcoming venue with a relaxed atmosphere and fantastic food. The pan-Asia menu made us want to try everything and after our starters and mains we kind of did as everything was so good we ordered some more!

It’s easy to make a good curry but the ones we had really showed the vast difference between a good and great curry. They were so flavoursome and I was impressed by the quality of ingredients. The Massaman curry I ordered had such excellent potatoes, so fluffy and the consistency of the sauce was perfect.

Everything else we ordered was so good but I particularly recommend the momos, they were to die for and also the Bao buns.

I can’t wait to go back to try some more...

Unfortunately, we were not informed clearly how the all you can eat formula worked, nor were we told in advance what the Chef’s Selection would include. We were also told it was only cold food, yet we were served fried items – which we did not expect (and fried warm food cannot reasonably be considered “cold”).

The fish did not look fresh at all – the colour was concerning – and the formula relies heavily on rice to fill people up. Out of four uramaki selections, two were made with surimi, and not a single one featured salmon.

I have visited many all you can eat restaurants, and this was sadly one of the worst experiences I have had. We left feeling misled and frankly robbed. For these reasons, we will not be...

We had some bar food and sushi selections. The bar food was pretty standard and mediocre, the dumpling sauce was not great. karaage was good. Sushi was quite poor. The rice was very dry and felt similar quality to what you’d get from major super markets which was quite disappointing. For the price that is charged for sushi, I would expect better quality. I wish all the best to the new place and hope it will succeed as one of the newest restaurants in Stockwell.
