Came here for an early dinner on a Saturday evening. Even though only half the restaurant was full, half was reserved. But the waitress said if we can leave in an hour and half, we can take one of the reserved tables. We just wanted a quick dinner anyway, so we sat down. Ordered drinks, starters and mains and we were done in an hour. Food came quickly and was really tasty. Sweetcorn cakes were dainty but had flavour. Salt and pepper squid was crispy but didn’t really have salt and pepper taste. Was light. Also had mushroom tom yum soup and was full of mushrooms! The chicken pad Thai was a good portion and wasn’t too greasy. Would have been better if there were nuts to add texture. Duck curry was super tasty! Favourite dish of the meal! Had a sweetness to the with tomatoes and pineapple. The lamb massaman curry was not too heavy. Strong lamb flavour, but enjoyable. Had to order portion of rice separately, but a good portion. A great mixture of food which we thoroughly enjoyed! It all came to £63 (without service) including drinks for 3 people which is pretty good. The restaurant was full throughout the time we were there. There’s around 24 seats in the whole restaurant, so be sure to book to avoid disappointment. One disappointing thing was there was no mango sticky rice on the menu, but maybe it’s not in season?

After a bad experience in another nearby Thai place, I ended up in this little Thai place not sure of what to expect. The food turned out to be really really good. For starters, the Tom Yum hit the spot! Next, the Pad Kee Mao (spicy flat noodles) was terrific! Only wished that I had ordered it with tofu instead of beef. The banana fritters turned out to be the surprise star of the night. It was a little less greasy than the one you’ll find in the chip shop. But the soul of the dessert was very much alive. All in all I had a fantastic dinner and I can’t wait to go back and try their other dishes.

Really good Thai food. The flavours of the curries were delicious and authentic tasting. The service was also really good with the waitress making some recommendations to you. The entrees were not amazing and the meat in the curries tasted quite processed/frozen though this is sort of expected for the price. Despite this was still very delicious. Coconut rice was amazing. Two curries with two entrees and two serves of rice was about 35 pounds which we thought was pretty decent value

Sorry but even the excellent service doesn't allow me to recommend this restaurant.

First the positives, the service really was very good, friendly attentive and they did knock 10% from the bill for my wife's dish missing some ingredients. I personally would be liked the whole main course but I didn't have the energy to explain everything that was wrong with my dish.

The starter was okay and the peanut sauce on the Satay was tasty, but the chicken satay was dry because of that.

The Pad Thai was also okay and generous portion of prawns stirred through, although I think they could be slightly more adventurous with the flavours.

But the main course was not good at all.

My wife's Thai basil and chili chicken had no Thai basil and the chicken was overcooked and dry... We think the chicken probably stir fried separately so the flavours are very separate from one another. This was the dish that we complained about because it mentioned basil and honestly without that it's just chicken and onion and veg. The waitress kindly explained they didn't have any basil in the kitchen (!) so couldn't add and this was why our meal was discounted.

My jungle curry was very bad and so much wrong with it I couldn't list them all. The chicken was again overcooked and I very much doubt had been in the sauce longer than it was at my table. The vegetables were pretty uninspiring: broccoli, cabbage and carrots, plus a couple of slices of aubergine and 2 green beans. It was missing the Thai herbs promised on the menu that I took to mean lemongrass, galangal etc. you might normally expect. No chilli heat at all except the minute amount in the paste with the heat boosted by the chilli powder that I'd mentioned. Worse was that the sauce had no umami flavours at all and it was so far off okay I didn't think it worth asking them to remake it...the extra fish sauce and lime that I requested and swiftly provided couldn't rescue it. Definitely not the homemade unctuous stock I'm used to

Thai food which deserves to be so much more...

I had a very bad experience in this restaurant. The lady / staff was so rude. I went with my toddler and my toddler was in a bad mood and made noise. Due to inconvenience for others, I decided to take away and asked the lady who was wearing a head band. But she said it will not be possible as I already ordered to eat there. My baby threw tantrums. By seeing that, again she came and asked me whether I would cancel my order or takeout. I felt so rude Why did I go to that restaurant to cancel my order? but to have a nice meal and time. I don't want to cancel but she insisted on canceling. She made me feel bad and I didn't say any words and left immediately. I don't prefer this restaurant. Please treat people / mothers with kindness even though baby threw tantrums. Don't be harsh on customers. Because of her we skipped lunch and then my baby slept without eating. This is very bad. I don't recommend...
