Edit: giving me bacon as replacement for a vegan meal that I cannot eat, does not atone for anything and we were charged for our drinks, it is not good... on the bright side the avocado & coffee cafe next door is a vegan haven 😍

P.S: giving discounts for 5-star reviews doesn't mean you provide 5-star service. After waiting for 40 minutes for our food only my food came and the order of my partner's all vegan had been confused with a eggs on avocado toast which we declined, then it took 15 minutes for someone to come over to apologise for the misunderstanding and offer us a free drink, at which point we said there was no point as I had finished my food. They insisted they were already cooking the ALL VEGAN so we should take it home as a takeaway. At the end they didnt charge us for the ALL VEGAN, but imagine the shock when we got home and what was inside the box was the eggs on toast we sent back with EXTRA BACON!! We are a veggie/vegan household and we specified several times that my partner was vegan and then they send us BACON home???!!! Beyond...

Unpleasant experience, was rushed out by the lady with a short red bob (not sure why as the cafe was half empty).

At the end of our meal she was over zealous with bringing the bill over. I stated I would pay once finished, as I was still drinking my chai latte.

The woman then came back less than 5 minutes later, interrupted my conversation whilst practically shoving the card machine in our faces and took my cup.

Shame as the food was decent, but word of advice from somebody who has worked in hospitality for years. Slow down on your over pushy style of customer service, it’s left a very bad taste in our mouths.

My husband immediately said “we’re never coming here again”.

Ironically I was planning on taking my son for an afterschool milkshake as we’re always nearby, but ultimately I will be spending my money somewhere else.
