I have traveled to several European countries and eaten in different types of restaurants during my travels. This one has the worst service attitude in my memory. In order to comfort my husband's Chinese stomach, we found this one close to our accommodation, with good online reviews and it was still open at 4pm. We pushed the door and entered the store happily. The three staff members were eating, and we felt sorry in our hearts that our arrival would definitely affect them. We were also very hungry. We had no time to eat all the way from Santiago de Compostela-Barcelona-London, and each of us stuffed a bad taste sandwich at the Barcelona airport. When we ordered, we raised some small questions and requests, but they were all answered impatiently by a waitress with dyed hair. We thought it might be because our arrival affected her lunch? So the attitude was so rude? We ordered 3 dishes, the taste was okay, but there was too much oil. We urgently needed tea and other things soon...
Read moreDecided to walk a stretch of local restaurants that I haven't tried and to be honest didn't know existed. Saw the reviews for this and decided to give it a go as so few restaurants are open on Mondays. So just after 1pm we roll up and the restaurant is rammed, we got the last two seat table available. Went for a range of Dim Sum and helpful smiley staff were lovely. Everyone else in the restaurant were Chinese on an organised tour. We were made to feel welcome and majored on prawn Dim Sum with some Char Siu buns too. A couple of Tsing Tao beers washed this down. Total was £45 with service included which we opted to pay in cash as 3-4% taken off by a card Co. really hurts small traders. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was the best encountered outside of Chinatown. Will deffo...
Read moreMy grown-up children took me here for a birthday dinner. We all had squid to start which was nice and crispy. We shared a Singapore noodle and had the spicy cumin lamb with chilli. We also shared a sweet-and-sour chicken and crispy shredded beef. It was all very tasty. The staff are super friendly. It’s a bit more expensive than an average Chinese or oriental restaurant but it was well worth it because the quality of the meat was excellent and the multitude of fresh ingredients really made it taste so much nicer for a full-blown meal you’re looking at about £30 a head. The available selection of dumplings and buns is excellent and they make them all themselves on the premises. If you found this helpful please press the like button and follow me and I will...
