Arrived at this place, near the station, to meet with some friends. I needed badly to relieve my bladder, and I ran into the toilet (the entrance was so dark and with little light, and the wall and everything were BLACK).. nearly smashed into a wall..I still have my dark glasses from outside.. lol.. after I found the door.. the toilet (male at least, haven't ventured in the girls one...) is BLACK with everything BLACK with a sink that will find itself at ease in a 70's acid ridded disk club...interesting. The seat was broken and the general feeling was of...untidiness. got out and chatted friends until the food got cold (my bad). The doner was tasty. The place is..meh.. nothing particularly wow (apart the loo.. if you come here I suggest it to be your first stop) .. another complaint is that I asked for mint leaves tea (that should be pretty standard in these type of restaurants). I got a tea pot with hot water and some scattered mint leaves in. And a very narrow glass to drink it. Problem was that if you put the leaves and do not put a.. filter or something, they will clog the exit of the teapot.. and the tea will go everywhere (and that's EXACTLY what happened!!). Apart that.. prices are little high end for the did abs the vibe of the place. But still can try it if you are in the area and you like psychedelic toilets!!!

I have visited twice. Once on a busy friday night, the other on a quiet weekday. Both experiences were excellent. It is fairly expensive but it is worth it. You are paying for a good quality service. Food is excellent, very tasty and generous portion sizes. Presentation is also good. Service is friendly and kind. Drink orders were a little slow on the busy Friday night, but it is forgivable. The restaurant was packed and they have a difficult job to do. Happy to wait a little longer than usual as the food was excellent. Live entertainment too, Friday night had a belly dancer and there is also live music. This really adds to the experience. You aren't just paying for the meal but for a shared experience with your fellow diners. There is also an outside area, as well as shisha facilities for you you shisha aficionados! There are no other restaurants in the local area of a similar style. I can't think of any other Turkish restaurants in the area. There is an Italian just down the road. All in all, an excellent restaurant and worth a visit. On both occasions I simply walked in without a reservation . 10/10!

We have been welcomed by a nice staff, we got seated and a lovely waitress called Soltana served us which was perfect with a smile and very accommodating. We have ordered some starters which wear not great but not so bad at the same time. After starters we have ordered mix grill for 2 combination, huge portion but no quality , very far from traditional Turkish food. During the main course our waitress have ended her shift and no customer service afterwards not mentioned the quality of the food, the restaurant concentrating on quantity but no quality. Very sorry for my review, but I would like to help you more than criticise you. At the end of the meal that we couldn’t even eat we have asked for a takeaway boxes and we have got the cheapest takeaway boxes ever. One more thing, when we called to book, they said they have a belly dancer as entertainment which we never sow and when we asked , they said she is not coming Message to the owner, stop walking around clueless, pay attention to the service and the customers. Best wishes to all

I have been to this restaurant twice for a mass gathering and on both occasions I faced appalling experiences. The first issue was the confusion of the menu(what each person was ordering) and the timing. We had noticed that most people had received their main course already including those who did not order from the set menu, however, those who were seated at my table were still not served their food until 45 minutes later. Overall the food was satisfactory and a few of my colleagues described the meat to be dry and bland. We had requested for an extra chair for another colleague so they could join our table but was refused to be given one. Once my friend had asked to see their manager a chair had magically appeared out of nowhere! The customer service was very poor and delayed. After asking many times where our food was, there was no clear answer as to where it was. What is the point of ordering a hot chocolate if it arrives cold? We were informed that we did not have to pay a service charge and my team manager(who organised the leavers meal) had discussed beforehand that each person would pay separately(the bill being approximately £220). After everyone had paid and were getting ready to leave, my team manager and some of my friends including myself were stopped by the waiters saying we still had another £143 left to pay(on drinks). This was actually quite ironic as most of us were Muslims or did not want to drink. We tried explaining and proving to the restaurant waiters and managers that we had already paid for our meal and drinks but there was no consideration or sign of understanding from the workers. My manager ended up spending another £150 out of her pocket on the last day of work which set us off in emotions. This felt like a scheme to take money from customers as there was no certainty or evidence on the amount that was missing (the figure kept changing) and they did not show any records to prove it was our order. If you are considering to dine at this restaurant, please reconsider as this was a horrible experience and have ruined what was meant to be a bright and cheerful event. I am very disappointed in the service we received and will not be returning to this terrible...

Omg where do I start!!!!! This is a long review but you must read before going. Came to this restaurant years ago and the food was good, atmosphere was good and staff were professional. Went with a friend last night who had booked a table for 9.45. It was busy but were a few empty tables. We we put into a dark corner literally on the toilet door so people, mainly staff were constantly in and out. We ordered our starters and mains, while eating out starters the staff were constantly walking past looking at our plates which was a bit disturbing. While eating them one of the staff came over and asked to take it away!! Er hello I'm.still eating it. I.could understand if we were taking ages which we wasnt, but you still shouldn't do that. Then while still eating, they sent a young lady waitress with the food. Then trying to squeeze it onto the table, I had to ask her to remove the starter plates so it was possible to eat our mains( absolute joke). Yet again while eating our mains we were hassled with the waiters walking bacj and forth looking at our plates.. The time was about 11.15, if that was a problem for them then dont take bookings for 945. We wasnt even asked if we wanted a dessert to then be given the bill without even asking for it. While finishing my drink and digesting my food a waiter came over and stated taking stuff of the table, so said to my friend let's go before they take my bloody seat I'm sitting on. It was a very disappointing evening, shame as the food is good. There were people still in the restaurant at tables, so even if they were closing have a professional manner and maybe talk to your customers instead of being so rude. I have an italian and turkish background and been in restaurants from the age of about 1 and never come across anything like this ever. So word of warning keep clear as it's clearly just money they want and not customers to return. I dont even want to rate it 1 star but had to just to write...

We were a party off 13 and we were not offered drinks on arrival and after 20 minutes we had to ask for drinks.

We ordered our starters and mains together and the starters arrived within 30 mins. The food was ok but could have been better

We waited for almost 2 hours for our main courses, we kept asking were they were and they kept saying it's on the way.

When the food finally arrived it was dumped on the table and we were not told what it was so we had to sort that out for ourselves.

Everybody's food was wrong, half the table has no cutlery and the sauces that were asked for never arrived.

Nobody asked if our food was ok, I think they were frightened to ask as it was so poor.

None of us enjoyed the food as was shown by how much food went back to the kitchen.

1 of our party asked for a glass of water 3 times over the space on approx 1 hour 30 minutes and this didn't arrive until just before we were leaving.

The bad service I could have dealt with but bad food in a restaurant is just not acceptable. (The lamb tasted like cardboard)

We were there for my husbands and my birthday family meal and all I can say is that our birthdays were spoilt and we will never get that back.

When we complained they did knock some money off the bill and they brought up a small cake and a bottle of prosecco with 2 glasses (there were 13 people in our party) were we supposed to share it between us?

We were recommended to this restaurant and needless to say neither my husband or I or any of our party will return

It is the only time I have left a restaurant feeling hungry

If you are thinking of booking a table for anything over 4 people, don't bother as the staff don't seem able to cope with bigger parties

It was such a shame as we had been looking forward to celebrating our birthdays at a restaurant we had not been to, but the night was ruined and we will never get that back

Carol...
