I believe, this is my first ever review. I normally do not even leave them as, normally, I do not experience something so top notch that makes me want to find a way to leave a review. Wow. Honestly. Before I went to the Leon's in Brunswick Centre I have been to a couple of other Leon's and I have to say that they felt like any other restaurant, where when everyone is busy, you have to rush to inform them with what you want (Which is absolutely understandable. Kindly do not get me wrong). However, the Leon's in Brunswick Centre offers something that I have always wanted to find in other restaurants without even knowing. If you have never been here, you most probably would not know, but it is absolutely busy here, but no matter how busy it is, you always get treated with kindness and care, and there is always very good communication. The food here is made with love and kindness, and when you try, hopefully, you will know what I mean. The photos may seem normal at first glance, however, the food here is definitely some of the best food I have had in London, for it is healthy, tasty, and super fresh. And my absolute favourite is the Coffee part. The Vanilla Latte here is super delicious, and it tremendously gives power to start the day. From breakfast to lunch to dinner, everything is offered here. I have just written an essay for my first review. I guess that says a lot. Thank you so much for your love and dedication to your work, through which you have made this place one of the most peaceful places I have been to in London. A huge thank you to Luca, Christian, Magda, Brachi, Anan, Sumaiya, Pragi, and Ronak. Your kindness goes a long way, and you have made someone's day countless times maybe even without knowing you have done so. Truly grateful for having had such an amazing...
Read moreUnfortunately, this was unexpectedly disappointing. I ordered a chicken burger and grilled waffle fries to take away to eat in my hotel room. Even though I was no more than 6-7 minutes walk away from the restaurant, the meal was cold. The chicken was awkward to eat, tasteless, and full of limp lettuce sprinkled with something resembling mayo that made the whole thing a complete mess to look at, let alone to eat. I thought the strange looking lattice fries might make a change from regular fries. These were slightly warm, soggy, and not nice to eat. The only thing that made them barely eatable was the so-called 'Korean Mayo' I'd added to the order. I'm not sure if there was anything remotely Korean about it, but at least it gave some taste to the overall experience. What I am pretty disgusted about was the cost!! Over £10 including a bottle of water. That is totally unacceptable, even for a meal that would have been moderately enjoyable. To pay this amount for total garbage is an absolute insult!! The only reason I didn't go back for a refund was that it was raining and couldn't be bothered to go back there. To be honest, I was looking for a McDonald's but couldn't see one in the immediate area. That's why I thought I would give Leon a try. Sorry Leon, but it's a big...
Read moreI don't know why I come here. Every time I visit it is deeply unsatisfactory. I say this because 6 or 7 years ago the food was innovative, tasty and healthy. The service was friendly and efficient. My main memory of my previous visit was a dangerously wobbly table, where my hot drink nearly ended up on my lap. If this had spilt on a baby I hate to imagine the liability. And it was not the only wobbly table. Plus the food was not great. This time there was an eight minute wait for chicken nuggets, and don't get me started on the rubber that is served up as french fries. Over the years the standards have dived, Brexit, COVID I don't know the cause. Or maybe whoever is now in ownership is purely cynical. I cannot imagine any successful owner of a chain that is branded as moral and of quality would actually eat here. It is fairly busy, but it looks like the students have got it sussed. By a drink, come in large groups and spend the day on the WiFi. Can't believe how it is still in business, or as consumers maybe we are to blame, and we will accept any crap that...
