Coming from a mixed-ethnics background, a few of my extended family members reside in Taiwan. Influenced by the family climate and preference, I am particularly interested in Taiwan's culture, especially its food and drinks, as they are sooo yummmyyy. :D

Truedan brunswick branch opened when pandemic slowed down its pace in London. At my first and second visits, the queue was so long that even me as a teacher almost lost my patience at one point.

However, the patience of the Truedan staff is really a treasure. They are always polite, smiling and friendly. If they notice that your waiting is long, you will receive a sincere apology. That's why I'm always happy when leaving with a freshly brewed and elegantly made milk tea.

Ah, I forgot to mention their speed of designing new drinks are super fast, did I? The most recent genre is a series of Pinapple summer drinks. I have not tried as I am so used to my favourite: brown sugar pearls milk tea. What's more, their pearls are so smooth, chewy and bouncy that a cupt of milk-tea would suffice your afternoon-tea menu!

Well, if you ask me if there is one thing of Truedan that needs improvement, the only one I can think of, is that their current distribution system might be over-manual, or 'labor-intensive'. Currently, the staff call out customer's order number for picking up drinks.

Might I suggest, if the team does not have a tight budget, then it would be beneficial to adopt an automatic picking up system in the long run. For example, to install a screen for custormers to see the drinks being prepared and the drinks ready to collect, like what MacDonald is doing right now. ;)

I went to Russell Square today to go shopping and eat, and I passed by Zhen Zhu Dan and discovered a new product! It’s the Camellia series milk tea! ! Good guy, when I thought of camellias before, I only knew about Chanel, but I didn’t know that camellias can also be made into milk tea? ! You must try this quickly! ! The result is amazing! ! The camellia milk tea is so delicious! !

😍Camellia thick milk tea, highly recommended! ! A must! ! As soon as you take your mouth, you will feel the super fragrant tea aroma! ! The thick milk cover completely absorbs the aroma~ How do you achieve it to be fresh and rich at the same time? ! I'm really curious! ! I really love this one! !

😍Camellia lemon osmanthus, different from the previous cup, this cup adds some lemon acid, which brings out the sweetness even more! With the fragrance of osmanthus mixed with the acidity of lemon, it is almost sweet but not sweet, and the taste is really rich!

😍Brown sugar fresh milk jelly grass, the most classic combination can never go wrong, this one does not contain tea, the jelly grass in it is really yyds~

I really like Zhen Zhu Dan more and more, Camellia, Ignorant Spring, Winter Melon Tea, there are really more and more varieties, and it tastes better and better!
