Next to the famous food market, Borough Market, in London, there are quite a few delicious small restaurants, and one of the more famous ones is Lobos Meat and Tapas.
🍴 The two of us ordered 7 Tapas, and each one was delicious.
🥩 Ribeye and Foie Gras
The steak is tender and juicy, and the foie gras melts in your mouth. The surface is seared to a slight crispiness and paired with a tangy and sweet French red wine onion sauce. It's truly satisfying!
🍖 Spanish Charcuterie Board
The board includes Iberian black pig charcuterie, with Iberian ham, Spanish spicy sausage, summer sausage, and loin. Each flavour is excellent and goes well with bread and Sangria.
🍳 Broken Eggs
This dish is found in many places, and whenever you see it, just order it without hesitation. It's delicious no matter where you have it. Soft-fried eggs with crispy outer layer, potato chunks, and Sobrassada sausage.
🦐 Prawns in Garlic
The shells in the middle of the prawns are removed, leaving the heads and tails. It's very satisfying to eat, perfectly cooked, fresh and juicy, with a delicious garlic flavour.
🐙 Black Rice Paella
The rice, cooked with squid ink, is pitch black but incredibly tasty. It's paired with squid, shrimp, and garlic mayonnaise. Squeeze a wedge of lemon and mix it in; it's truly fresh and delicious, making it hard to stop eating.
🐷 Secreto Iberico with mojo potatoes
Slightly crispy, fragrant, and tasty, with delicious potatoes and a beautiful sauce.
🥗 Salad
After indulging in meat, have a salad to balance it out.

It was a Monday and there were only three of us since the kitchen girl finished at 4 and it was Priscila, another classmate and we supposed to close the Bar. My colleague and I finished work about 11:30 p.m. but Priscila decided to leave earlier around 10:50 p.m./11:00 p.m. And just around 11:10 p.m. I started getting charges on my card from a store called "FashionNova" "UberEats" etc. Priscila had had conversations with the other colleague saying that she shopped at "FashionNova" very often and explained to her how she shopped at that store constantly. The second day I reported it to the managers immediately because I know it's someone from there (Priscila), and I blocked the card. They never bothered to find out who it was or question Priscila for buying in that store and someone just made the same charges to my card. I started looking for work somewhere else and leaving as soon as possible because I felt insecure in that job; especially because before starting work I was at home for at least two months. One day I had a conversation with Priscila and the manager in front of her because she started making comments about me behind my back and I questioned her about the theft of my card. She started laughing saying that she knew what she was doing and that she was smart at doing things right. Having been to their SOHO branch before, I already knew they could impress, but this other venue truly raised the bar. The food was simply exquisite – every dish bursting with flavour that took me straight to the heart of Spain. Yet, it was the service that really made the night exceptional. The waiters were not only attentive but also genuinely caring, turning our meal into a special celebration.
From the moment we arrived, the team made us feel completely at ease. It was as though they anticipated our every need, managing every little detail with a perfect blend of grace and professionalism. Their warm demeanour and attention to detail created an atmosphere that was both cosy and refined – a rare treat in a city where top-notch hospitality can sometimes be hard to come by.
It’s clear that the owner takes great pride in his staff, as every interaction reflected the passion and dedication behind the service. Their commitment not only enhanced our evening but also set a high standard for what dining out should be.
I left the restaurant thoroughly impressed, not just by the sumptuous cuisine but by the genuine care we received throughout the night. I would wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone in search of a dining experience that truly stands out.
