Ordered the poached eggs on sourdough with mushrooms. My food took longer than the others, and I could see in the mirror that the kitchen had served up the dish, I heard them say it was poached eggs, and the waiter just took one plate and left that one sitting under the heat lamp - end result, the eggs were overdone with hard yolks by the time I got them. Also I was surprised to see it came with a side salad and an English muffin instead of smashed avocado and sourdough - I checked the menu later to confirm I was correct that this is what it was meant to come with, as didn't want to kick up a fuss in the restaurant, especially after waiting so long for it in the first place. The avocado is one thing but the dish name specifies sourdough so that's an odd thing to mess up.
I'm not that fussy, if the kitchen was out of ingredients and that was communicated to me i could have picked another dish or accepted this dish with the substitutions. I wouldn't have ordered it if it was going to be a side salad, being honest. I'm unhappy that I was served this with no explanation, and paid £10.95 for the privilege. Price is reasonable if you get what you order and it's not overcooked but otherwise no.
I'm reluctant to say 1 star as it seems a nice place otherwise but can't say I'll be rushing to return. I feel that someone messed up and hoped i just wouldn't notice instead of being honest, so I regret not saying...
Read more( I posted the following review a week ago, I am forced to edit it and tell you that you did a good research on my profile, but I have never been to your restaurant, I clearly specified that it was a review about an online order, I think it is not necessary to lie in this case if everyone can see that the review is about that on the details of the review, I am attaching a screenshot with proof of the order I placed and the prices so can verify.
I find it hard to believe that a restaurant owner would verify and handle complaints trying to lie and answering in this way )
Very bad experience ordering from this place, we ordered two portions of croquettes at £10 each, and a portion of ham and cheese sandwiches,ñ for around £10 as well, the sandwiches were passable but the croquettes… as a Spanish customer I can say that they are probably the worst I have ever tried, of two portions with 4 croquettes each portion we were only able to eat two… £30 pounds for only take 2 croquettes…honestly I don't think I'll dare try the rest of the menu, first and probably the last time I order from this menu unfortunately, a shame because the menu...
Read moreAmazing experience!! I could not recommend enough this spot close to Finsbury Park station. The restaurant decoration is great, the atmosphere is cozy, the service was excellent and the food beyond expected. As a Spanish, this is the first Spanish restaurant I rate with 5 stars. Although I have tried good Spanish food in some other places, this is the ONLY I would recommend. They cook using our products and the combination of pur ingredients taste like home. Big congratulations to the kitchen team. My partner and I enjoyed sooo much. Eçe, the waitress who looked after us, was just brilliant. She welcomed us with a smile, chat with us about the food and took care that our evening was going smoothly. As the restaurant was not busy that night, we went on a weekday and pretty late, our food arrived very well presented and within a short waiting time. Eçe told us that they also do flamenco nights with live performance at the restaurant and I will definitely go sooner than later. Once again, thank you very much to the team for making our...
