Yak & Yeti (Finsbury Park, Stroud Green) — Restaurant in London

I order on 1/10/2020 at 7pm the price online is different from price in store because they haven't updated website. I order 2 portions of lamb chops which came uncooked still pink inside even thought I asked for it to be well done. I called up and told them my problem with he food they said sorry there is no more lamb chops and driver has gone home. Which I replied can I just get my money back please they then said the driver will bring it to me. After a hour waiting bare in mind I order food for my 4 year old son and I. I call back only for the staff to tell me the driver tyre bust. I said so know one called call to say that they actual had the adasaty to say NO WE COULD NOT CALL! Very rude of them. I then said I want my money now the staff said u order tomorrow u wont pay. I said are you mad my son and I order to eat today, what we gonna eat now at 930pm now. The manager said ok we will call u at 10pm have your bank card ready. 10pm came no call so I called, the staff takes my details and said I'll be refunded. Today is 2/10/2020 still no refund I phone up at 9 30am the cleaner answers and says the shop does not open to 3pm but it says 11 30 on website. I will never waste my money here again, staff do not have customer service they need training, no one can communicate in English properly so they dont understand and pass the phone round and round the shop to other staff to try understand. Worst indian shop ever I will never recommend buying online. I still have the pictures to prove this and the food to take bk to the shop today disgusting try to poison...

The one star was only because the food was nice .... Customer service is dreadful...the decor is lovely.... But no atmosphere or warmth from the staff... Was asking about the wine list and the waiter walked away ... At the point i should of left.... As the rest of meal went down hill quickly....we weren't offered and popadums before the meal something that is only a little thing.... Very inexpensive for them to provide .... The food was nice but being stared at and to not even get a free popodum or a mint or hand wipe after spending over 60 pound on a meal for 2,.... i wont be going back.... No good having nice food .... But no customer service.... I've had a better service in MacDonalds!! My service charge was added into my bill.... So as it was optional i got it back!!! I work very hard to earn my money and don't go out often .... To be asked we were ready to leave will we still had drinks ...wasn't asked would we like dessert so decided to not spend no more money with them. Fancy chairs mean nothing when u have people sitting in them get ignored and hurried up wouldn't of minded if the place was busy but clearly wasn't..... nice food but not worth leaving yr house for! Seems to me they cut corners over a few popodums...and they could do with getting the cleaner to clean the the dust of the picture.... What a shame... Great food but no warmth or love.... I take my 60 pounds...

If I could only recommend one place in London, this would be it. We found our way to Yak n Yeti almost by accident - it was raining cats and dogs outside, we were just in the neighbourhood, looking for a warning midday meal. I am not exaggerating when I say that the chicken dish (Timur Piro chicken) was the best seasoned poultry dish I've EVER had and this actually goes for their saffron rice, too.

My partner told me that his naan bread and nepalese chicken main was also nothing short of delicious, which comes as no surprise, really.

Also, I should mention that their masala tea is masterfully light and perfectly seasoned - while some other places would sweeten their teas to the point of no return, they actually held back on the sugar, which was greatly appreciated.

I can honestly say that I simply cannot wait to visit the Yak...
