Read moreI went to this restaurant to celebrate my marriage anniversary thinking that I would make a good choice for a day to remember. Well, it will be remembered but not in a nice way. Despite being famous within my community and by Londoners I was surprised to see that it doesn't deserve all that glory at all. We ordered Carpaccio as a starter which was fine. Than we ordered a Tomahawk as main together with a side of sauteed spinach with garlic and butter as stated on their menu but it was just passed in hot water and not seasoned at all and cold too. We asked the meat to be cooked medium but arrived at the table almost well done and it was cold, even the platter was freezing cold when it should arrive hot and sizzling. I asked the waitress for grain mustard but all she brought was a tiny pot of simple supermarket French mustard. Also asked for some sage and butter and brought it raw when it should have been sauteed on a pan or a pot. Finally when I told her she did so. For a place like this it would be nice to be offered at least a couple of home made sauces such as bearnaisse sauce which is a must with meats. We had some wine and two bottles of mineral water and dessert. We finally paid the bill and left without being greated or asked whether we had a nice meal or not. Feels like they knew it wasn't good so preferred not to ask. I didn't say anything neither cause didn't want to spoil the celebration which is what was most important after all. Don't know whether it's only this place of the many they have with such bad quality but I certainly am not the one to go to find out. Once is enough and I hope that after reading this they will make sure the restaurant gets an update and make things better for future customers. Would be nice to receive an apology and an explanation from head office too if they get to read this. Be aware diners, for the amount of money they charged you will get better deals...
Read morewhen I did my reservation I added a not regarding gluten and dairy free items and the team was not aware of it. But the waitress was absolutely lovely and helped me all the time. But I think if you add this information, maybe they can improve the service or, just remove the option of dietary requirements in the website. My main dish supposed to be a meat, but I received a chicken. I didn’t complain and decided to try, and I have no regrets. It was very good. But everyone in the table was laughing about it! They never asked if we want desert. Suddenly, after the main dish, they just dropped the bill on top of our table without further explanation. There were three tables in total and they did the same with all of them (they did it with our table first so we just observe the situation with the other two). I thought it was very rude. It’s was around 10:40pm and I understand they want to close, but before you drop the bill maybe you could ask for deserts or just explain the restaurant will close very soon and after that you leave the bill. This was definitely the worst part of all the experience. When we paid and left the table, the first room (the entrance) had all the lights off (where they keep the meat). It was a strange situation to walk around in complete darkness. My table had 4 guests, the other table 4 guest and the last table was 2 guest. When you still have 10 guest, you don’t turn off the lights like that. It was...
