Here on vacation and tired so wanted to get take out and chillax … hence the 4 stars for atmosphere but I will say the place was clean. We decided to give Mangios a try and we are glad we did! The PASTA IS HOMEMADE except for the rigatoni. I got the cappellacci with the seasonal ‘nduja’ sauce with sausage in a creamy red sauce; he doesn’t spare the cheese filling and the spiciness of the sausage was not too hot but enough to give you an explosion of flavor with a little ‘bite’! My husband had the Orachetti with basil and tomato and bacon sauce which we realized is a ham in London. We both very much enjoyed it and talked about going back before we go home! I always look for the lasagna special because it was SO good.
I most recently tried the Gnocchi with salmon and cream cheese and it was honestly to die for. Mangio do pasta well and definitely also Gnocchi too.
The service and people that work here are so pleasant, the place has a real family feel and I always look forward to dosing up on my regular carby lunch here where the pasta is fresh authentic, unlike bigger chains around who definitely use dried pasta for their dishes for almost the same price point.
