Incredibly bad. I ordered mixed Tikka, Tarka daal, plain rice, puri, cauliflower bhaji and Lamb tikka Bhuna. The mixed tikka selection was abominable. It smelled old and all the meats were tough. It was simply inedible. The tarka daal, a thin lentil soup was nice. Too watery for my preference but tasty nonetheless. Puri was too thick and greasy but huge. Cauliflower bhaji, a kinda of soggy cauliflower curry was really nice and I enjoyed it most but it was greasy. Rice is rice. If they got that wrong, I’d have given one star. The lamb tikka bhuna was atrocious and had the toughest meat I’ve ever come across. I actually had to cook it myself a further hour to soften the meat up. Overall I do not recommend this place at all. I’ll try them again in a few months because I don’t like to leave negative reviews for businesses and think these guys deserve a chance to change my mind. Read moreWe were two ladies after gym - decided to try what looked like a nice little restaurant, but food was So Bad - (cheap nasty tough meat and curries just full of oil and onion) Service even worse. The boss barks orders at his employees and makes them do ridiculous things - we felt sorry for the staff. Boss so pushy on “poppadoms poppadoms” and drinks - and although the restaurant was entirely empty, boss insisted on sitting a lone male diner right next us girls. Why? Super stingy too - ordered a ginger ale but no can arrived, just flat ginger ale from a bottle in a hiball glass. Asked for tap water, wouldn’t leave the jug on the table. Bill cane with a tug of war over a napkin - honestly just crazy service! AVOID at all costs. New management...
