The food was fresh and delicious! I didn't have a nice experience with the service, however. When my boyfriend and I arrived at the restaurant, we were looking through the options since you order at the balcony. The woman there asked if we knew what we wanted in an impatient way. I like reading the options well before choosing so It wasn't very nice to push us. When I ordered, I read the name of the dish which was even written in the balcony, "gozleme" with lamb filling and my boyfriend ordered the borek with beef and onion filling, but when mine was brought, it was a different pastryand filling. I had the borek with spinach and feta served to me. I went to the balcony to say that I had ordered a different one, and the woman was very defensive and insistent that I had ordered the one she brought me. She got a bit heated, started speaking a bit louder, even though I tried explaining in a calm and relaxed way that it had been the other one (pointing to the names "gozleme" and "lamb" I read when ordering) that I picked. Turns out I just said "ohh okay" pretending to "understand" my mistake, even though it was not the case, to end that situation. I have no complaints about the food, it was a fresh pastry with a nice salad we ordered to accompany it, although i couldn't taste much feta cheese on the one they brought me, just the spinach. But that treatment was terrible, very unpleasant, to say the least.

To contrast that with a similar experience at a different place, my boyfriend had the wrong coffee served and when he told the waitress, she kindly told him to keep the wrong one she brought while she went to prepare what he had ordered.

It was too bad because the food was good, but I wouldn't come back.

Tip for someone who wants to try it: the food is still worth it. Just don't expect to get a good treatment in case something goes wrong, and make sure you got your order clear...

Love!! Heart warming Gözleme in a chilly rainy day. The dough perfectly toasted, crispy at some spots and soft, moist and springy overall. The lamb mince gives a hit of spice. And the hearty mezze salad! Since my food comes in two separate small dishes, it was quite difficult to maneuver ;)

Looking forward to try those dishes on other people’s tables and in the menu.

Two days in a row!

Second time. Beef Stuffed Aubergine. Full of flavor and juicy. And the amount of meat is phenomenal! It is three times thicker than the remaining flesh of the eggplant — very filling! Also love the bulgur, as I eat too much rice at home.

Can be really busy during proper lunch hours. I was lucky yesterday to find it half empty at around 2:30 pm after the major wave of customers. Well today I am still lucky to be allowed the last secret seat behind the fridge in front of the long line. Not embarrassing at all as long as I keep focusing...

My favourite place for lunch and have been going here for years.

Everything is halal!

The staff are nice, friendly and welcoming and it’s a great small business to support.

The eat in section is quite small and gets filled up quite quickly during the lunch rush but if you can get a seat, it’s a really cute little place to sit and eat.

They make the gozleme fresh in the front window throughout the day which is really captivating to watch and nice assurance of how fresh the food is.

I absolutely love their mezze salad they add on the side of each and ever dish, I could eat that alone every day! Super fresh and tasty.

I usually order hot food to takeaway back to the office and my go to order is the stuffed aubergine with mezze on the side. Portion is generous and I always have half leftover that I end up having for dinner.

Absolutely gem of a place, cannot...

- ambience: a small cafe/restaurant but brightly lit. you can see all the workers preparing the pastries and dishes which was lovely. incredibly friendly staff - food: got the chicken and mushroom borek (5/5) and mezze platter (4/5) for just £10. great price point for the portions. they heated the borek on a press and its flaky and savory. SO GOOD.
