Ok so just a few things wrong with this establishment. On the door the hours shown as closing time being 22:00. I arrived at 20:45 and an older gentleman was attempting to pay with cash but was told they can’t accept as they’ve closed the till as they will be closing in 5 mins. Should change the the hours on the front if this is the case as not everyone has access to the internet on their phone and would know this but also why close the till 15 minutes before actual close when there were still customers coming in. Then it came time for me to be served, I asked about one of the coffees - Mikeloccino and after I was given a brief explanation I asked if i could have one and was met with contempt and and annoyance particularly by the female server who wasn’t even the one serving me. Now I had only seen the Mikeloccino in the specials hot drink section but was given a cold drink and realised there was a cold version. I wasn’t asked which one I’d like but it was cold and raining outside so I guess the guy just decided to give me the cold version in medium size when again I wasn’t even asked what size I wanted because it was just the quickest thing to make and didn’t require the actual coffee machine which started getting cleaned after I placed my order. I can’t tell if the actual servers were just rude and wanted to close shop a few minutes earlier so they could get out or if they’re not given enough time to close and clean between end of business and their shift which is something they need to bring up to their superiors and not take it out on customers. Now onto the quality of the actual drink. It was terrible. I love sugary drink but this was so pumped with syrup I couldn’t finish it as it gave me a massive stomach ache after drinking half the cup. And I paid almost £6 for...
Read moreMikel Coffee is honestly one of those places that makes you fall in love with coffee all over again. The moment you walk in, you feel the welcoming vibe—the space is cozy yet modern, and the team is always friendly and professional.
The coffee itself? Absolutely outstanding. It’s rich, smooth, and full of flavor—perfect whether you’re just grabbing your daily cup or you’re a serious coffee lover. But what really blew me away were their specialty drinks. They’re so unique and creative that you won’t find anything like them, not just in London, but anywhere in England. Every sip feels like something completely new and exciting.
On top of that, they serve fresh pastries and light snacks that pair perfectly with the drinks. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, catch up with friends, or even get some work done comfortably.
What makes Mikel Coffee truly special, though, is how much they care about their customers. Every visit feels personal and memorable, thanks to the staff’s genuine kindness and attention to detail.
If you’re looking for a café that combines amazing drinks, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service, Mikel Coffee is without a doubt one of the best choices...
Read moreEarlier today me and a few friends walked in looking to catch a break from all the noise outside and a tall man behind the till gave us some sort of odd look. As my friends found a seat, I stayed back to speak to him to understand why he was frustrated and he remarks that we can't bring drinks from elsewhere. Although this wasn't advertised on entry, I apologised on the behalf of my friends and asked what we had to do- he proceeds to say that we need to buy something EACH to take our seats. I bought a pastry and headed upstairs to take a seat. My friends proceed to queue and buy items but he then tells them they had to ALSO buy a drink each, in a very rude and loud manner. We all felt incredibly embarrassed and decided to leave. Only after leaving did I manage to taste the food but the service completely ruined my experience. Please remind your employees to treat your customers with care because we do not want anyone else to be lied to or have to experience such...
