Worst bubble tea ever, We won’t be returning. I recently visited your boba place at wembley patk and had an unbelievably disappointing experience. We made it clear from the start that we were particular about our orders, asking the staff about every detail—milk type, sugar levels, etc. Despite our thorough questions, the drinks we received were nothing short of awful, literally awful !!!!
I ordered a caramel milk boba, which I’ve had countless times at other boba spots around London. What I got was nothing like what I expected. Shockingly, it contained jasmine tea instead of the standard black tea. This was extremely odd, especially since the menu listed jasmine tea as a separate option. If it’s a standard practice at this branch to use jasmine tea, that should have been communicated to us. Yet they claim it’s “OUR RECIPE”.
When I mentioned that the drink tasted off and didn’t have any caramel flavor—like I was just drinking jasmine tea with milk—the staff’s response was lackluster. She offered to add caramel but completely ignored my main issue: the unwanted jasmine tea. No attempt was made to correct the mistake.
My husband’s experience was equally bad. He ordered a matcha oat milk bobba, which was literally the worst matcha we've ever had. It tasted like straight grass—so strong and powdery that it made us cough multiple times. Again, there was no offer to fix the drink.
Overall, this was hands down the worst boba experience we’ve had. With zero effort from the staff to address our concerns, I believe a refund is in order. We won’t...
Read moreEXCELLENT place, the staff was very NICE and KIND, the bubble tea there is AMAZING. I really like their system because first of all they ask you the flavors of the tea or milk and the boba, then the size (medium or large), level of sweetness (so 0%, 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%) and if you would like a bag, an extra straw, and some free golden boba on top of your bubble tea (I don't know if they put free boba just for a limited time or not). They also sell mochi and other snacks. But on the down side the larger size is a little more expensive and the extras (bag and extra straw) are not free. Anyways I looove this place, it was soo good. I always take the mango passion fruit tea with passion fruit popping boba but the blueberry boba is really good too. My friends loves the taro with the chewy kind of tapioca boba, it does have a special taste (I think it is supposed to be purple sweet potato but it has a very slight nutty taste) (or maybe it's just me). I also advise to not ask for a very high level of sweetness (like 25% or 50%) because the boba is already sweet. I think that the staff is so lovely, the bubble tea is really good and the place is great. Hope you go there and try it...
Read moreWorst bubble tea i ever had in a while! The matcha powder had so dusty feeling that gave me instant non stop coughing until you clear your throat with some water. And the caramel milk tea came with jasmine flavour. When complained they told us they put jasmine by default as part of their "recipe". Like why on earth would you combine jasmine with caramel while having separate menu items for jasmine tea and caramel tea!! And they call it their recipe lol. Anyways wasn't a pleasure at all visiting this store. Also it is not about just this store it is about the brand, searching for booboo across london you will find their stores having the lowest rating compared to other bubble tea stores across london even the basic ones. Not recommended at all unless you want to spend your...
